So, Romeo tried marking me again causing me only pain. He forgot I'm human and human markings are pain in the ass. Still, the mark dint appeared.

Romeo decided not to leave me at all. While I'm eating, I wanted to go on a run he'd ways tag along.

"Please. I wanted to workout" I snapped. "Yeah but what's the problem. I said I'm cuminh along." He spoke. "That is the problem. You are always tagging along. Can't I have a me time?" I pouted. "You have a target behind you're back. You're a human who can't defend herself. And, a hot girl with all unwanted males lying around. So yeah. No" he cooly replied.

"Possessive much?" I teased. "You wish" he replied lying on bed. I sighed. "I'm going to see Addy. Bye" I ran not waiting for a reply.

Okay. But where is his room? This is like a whole damn puzzle.

"You're going the wrong way"

I sighed. "Is it really really necessary?" I asked. "Yup." Romeo replied. I walked in silence as we went in. This time, we knocked. Thankfully they both are fully dressed.

"Hey twinny. Missed me?" I asked as Addy cringed at that name. "Really? Twinny?" He asked making a disgusting face. "Yup. I'm hungry" I said.

"Mee too" Iyla said.

You really think Romeo left me with Iyla? No. He dint. He even came to the kitchen, cooked me food after Addy pointing he banned me for buring the house. He exaggerated. I only burned kitchen.

"How's it?" He asked. "Good" I replied. It was heavenly. I mean it's chicken after all. Anything with chicken is heaven in my opinion.

"I want more" I asked after completing my first bowl. "You sure? You ate it all" he said. Looking my puppy dogged face, he started doing it again. I kissed him like encouragement.

Taking this chance, seeing how busy he is, I slipped away bumping into Ethan. "Hey" he greeted. "Ethan. Please take me somewhere from here. I feel like a caged Bird" I said as he nodded.

"Where are we going?" I asked after I took Romeo's car. Okay. Stealed. "Where do you want to go?" He asked. "I don't know. Just anywhere peaceful" I replied.

And slowly drifted into sleep.

"We are here" Ethan woke me up. I looked around to see a forest covered in dense trees. It's one of those scary forests you see in movies.

"Why are we here?" I asked. "To get peace" he replied. "Omg. Are you gonna kill me?" I asked dramatically. "What? Don't be dramatic" he replied.

It's been half an hour already and we are trekking deeper and deeper.

"Are we there?"

"One hundred and fifty eight" he replied.

"How much distance more?"

"One hundred and fifty nine"

"Why aren't we there yet?"

"One hundred and sixty" he said. I sighed silently walking. No going back. "Is this the part where I tell you I'm human yet and dint get my powers back? I'm sweating, my legs are giving up. And I can't even breathe" I said breathing heavily.

"We are here" he said as I shifted my gaze into the location. It's beautiful. I haven't seen anything like this in my whole life. Of course I have been most of the places but, this. This is to another level.

"It's beautiful" I breathed out. "yeah. I know. I used to come here when ever I needed peace and when ever I miss my family" he said.

We came to up in a hill sun setting, water running beside me falling off the hill. He sat down and I sat next to him.

"This is my peace. I feel alive here. I feel peaceful" he said still looking at the setting sun. "Yeah. Thanks for sharing it with me" I said. "Yeah. You're my family now Milli. Of course. I would do anything you say." He have me his charming smile.

I really love this guy. He is always been with me through thick and thin. I adore him for being him. He isn't like most of the vampires I know. He's something different and that's what I admire about him.

He ways sticks with his humanity reminding that there is a part left in him which is human, holding him back. I wish I was as strong as him.

Because, I don't know. If I don't have Addy with me to support me emotionally, I'd be dead by now.

"So, can I ask you something?" He questioned. "Yeah" I shrugged. "Do you really love Romeo? Or is it the mate bond?" He questioned.

That made me think. If I'm not Romeo's mate, will I still love him after the beast I saw him? On the other hand, he's my mate. The one born for me.

"He is not your choice right? You had no choice" he said. "No. I could reject him. But I chose to be his mate" I answered. "You are lying" he pointed out.

"Excuse me?" I scoffed. "Yeah. You are lying. You convinced you love him" he shrugged shifting his gaze to the setting sun.

"Why would you say that?" I asked. Am I lying? Why is he speaking like that?

"Yeah. You're angry with him that he marked you remember? But after Hera put a spell on you, you got more and more physically attracted to him. Key point: after that spell" he said.

True. What ever he said is the truth. Hera put a spell on me. And I convinced myself I love him. Why would she do that.

"I wanted to ask you this there itself. But Romeo I saw Romeo sticking by your side continuously. He really loves you Milli. Fault is in your side. She put the spell on you but not him" he said.

It's so confusing. I liked him after she did the spell. Romeo liked me after the spell or before? He definitely locked me in. But, why is this so confusing.

"What do you suggest?" I asked him looking at him. But he already dozed off into sleep. So did I.

My last thoughts are, Do I really love him?
