MADDY'S POV

I awoke in Draco's warm, strong arms. I longed to stay in his arms for just a moment longer but I knew that if I didn't get up now I would only end up sleeping in late. The room was silent, almost too silent for our group of friends. They would have come to bed last night. Have I already woken up late? What is going on? Where is everyone? I pushed myself up on my arms to look around the room, no one was there. To say I was confused was an understatement, I rubbed my eyes and turned over to Dray. He looked so peaceful like this, no worries, no care's but just as I started to admire him, he woke up. I kissed his forehead and put my hand on his chest,

"Morning my love," he said in his rough morning voice, his voice was already mesmerising enough but when it's rough as he woke up, it's a whole new experience. "Oh god, I'm sore from last night". As usual, he had his infamous smirk plastered on his handsome face, the smirk that makes you want to kiss him but slap him as well.

"I know love, have you left any marks on me?" I questioned while moving my hair out of the way of my neck. Draco let out a quiet laugh and the smirk on his face grew wider, I guess he has left me marked up then. I honestly don't mind it because it reminds people that we're together, not that they need reminding but I am still territorial. Draco sat up slowly and swung his legs off the bed, his back facing me. Oh my, Merlin, his back was red with scratch marks from my nails and his shoulder has a bite in it. Wait, that doesn't look like a teeth bite. No, I couldn't have, I would have remembered right? Does this mean he knows? So many questions raced through my mind that I didn't even notice Skylar walk into the room.

"Morning guys, OH MY GOD, well at least we know what that noise was last night, we thought myrtle was in the room" she laughed

"Where did the rest of you sleep last night?" Draco asked while putting his black t-shirt on. His back muscles contouring as he slipped it on was so mesmerising. I could watch it on repeat all day and I would still get excited over it.

"Oh, we just slept in the Slytherin common room after we had a few drinks with some of the quidditch team. James was heading to ask you both to join us but he heard a lot of moaning and thought it best to leave you." Sky replied. She was walking towards me and knelt down to my side of the bed as I was still laying down "Can we talk once Draco goes for a shower?" she whispered quietly. Fear shot through me. Had I done something wrong? She sounded serious. Oh God, what if she knows about what I really am? 'okay now your just spiralling' I thought to myself 

"Of course" I replied a warm smile on my face when on the inside I was terrified. Since what Parkinson did, I've been more anxious, this is not me, this is not Maddy Riddle. What the fuck is going on with me?

10 MINS LATER

Draco left for a shower and Sky made her way over to his side of the bed. She lifted the sheets and inspected before sitting down, I looked at her and giggled

"What I have to make sure I'm not sitting on any of Draco's love juice" I looked at her baffled 

"Love juice?" 

"Its what I call it, I think it sounds nicer" she laughed while scooting closer to me "Okay anyway, I think something is wrong with Bella, she can't be in a room with a lot of people before she gets pissed off and walks out. Last night she did it and I followed her, she went into the forest and went to this bush and in the bush, there was a box of blood bags. I left before she could catch me but I'm worried Maddy, I was thinking late last night that she could be a Vampire but then I realised that all the vampires have been in hiding for many many years so she couldn't be. However, there were two boxes last night meaning there is someone else in this school who is one of them. What if we're all in danger? What's going to happen to us? Who is it?" she spoke with a hint of fear in her voice. Just then Draco walked back into the room and strolled over to the wardrobe with a towel wrapped around his waist, he had his back turned to us so the bite I must have accidentally given him could be seen. It wasn't a small bite either, I just hoped that Sky hadn't seen it. 

"Wait, Draco, what's on your shoulder?" Sky questioned. Of course, of course, she has to notice it, just my luck. She walked up to Draco to look closer at the bite, I prepared my self for the screams, the fear and losing Skylar and possibly Draco. But I couldn't let that happen so I did something I wasn't even expecting to do

"Sky can you go and get the others please while I talk to Draco for a moment, I have something to tell you all?" I asked quietly. She nodded and left the room, I grabbed Draco's arm and pulled him towards the bed. He was fully dressed just his wet hair was left undone. I took one long look at him knowing this could be my last because he will leave me for being what I am. I started to tear up at the thought and the confession I was about to make but I couldn't keep this in any longer.

"Okay Dray we need to talk, what I'm going to tell you will probably make you hate me but I'm ready for it" I took a very deep breath and began "It happened at my 16th birthday party, I had always had an interest in these creatures because I envied them. My father knew how much I loved these creatures so we bought them out of the darkness and became friends with them. The evening of my party they were there, one of them got me into the library and forced me into a transition I hadn't had a desire to have. This creature was a vampire and he bit and killed me, but he killed me with his blood in my system so when I died I came back because of his blood. But I didn't come back as normal me, I became a vampire. Since then I've kept it a secret and I feed off blood bags, not humans. I'm not asking you to be fine with this because I know it's a lot to take in but I'm asking you to tell me what your thinking and feeling." It was out now, no going back. He sat staring at the floor for a few minutes before he cleared his throat and spoke

"Now that was a lot to take in but I accept you and still love you, It will take me a little time to get used to this but I don't hate you" he replied. I broke down in tears, for a long time I thought if I had told him this dark secret then he would hate me. I'm so lucky to have such an understanding and accepting boyfriend. I crashed into his chest while he ran his hands thought my hair. I sobbed on his chest while the others came into the room. They all gathered around and comforted me even though they had no idea what was wrong. I really am the luckiest girl alive right now. Draco told them everything and everyone was shocked at first but once they asked me some questions they were accepting and all hugged and thanked me for sharing that with them. Suddenly we heard a slow clap coming from the corner of the room.

"A really touching moment, really beautiful, enough to make a 245-year-old vampire cry" There he stood , the one who did this to me. He looked straight at me , "Hello Maddison" he spoke with a smirk on his face......
