Simon POV

Y/N had given his life to get us to where we are. We have to keep pushing forward. The ships that were deploying the gunmen before, were getting obliterated by Super Galaxy Gurren Lagann. They we firing laser at us, throwing planets at us. All to no avail

Yoko POV

"What's happening" Dayakka asks

"A powerful Spiral field is completely neutralizing the enemy's attacks" Cybela reports

"Of course!" Simon shouts, "AS IF THOSE PEBBLES WOULD WORK ON US!!!"

"Another large Spiral reading is...on this ship?!" Cybela says

"How is that possible" Kittan asks

Before she could answer, the whole ship was shook by the force of another attack

Simon POV

"Gurren Boomerang!" I shout using the shades on the gunmen to slice through 2 ships, "SUPER GALAXY MEGA CUTTER!!!"

Yoko POV

"Amazing" Kittan gawks, "That's Simons power"

"It's incredible" I say

Simon POV

The ships launch a barrage of missile towards us

"Weren't you listening?" I scoff, "Those little things won't work on m-aaaah"

Unexpectedly, the missiles hit and send us flying back

"What was that" Kittan asks

"Unknown" Cybela says, "Spiral field is holding steady. According to my monitor the attack is being blocked completely!"

"Then how the hell are they hitting us" Kittan asks

"Probability altering missiles" Lordgenome says, "They are negating the probability of us blocking their attack."

"They can manipulate probability" Yoko asks, "But that's Gods domain"

Suddenly a bright flash of light appears, blinding all of us

Yoko POV

"You would sacrifice one of your own in order to go forward" The Anti-Spiral asks from the blinding light, "Such is that past karma of the Spiral. And it is precisely because of that karma that you must be destroyed"

"Go fuck yourself!" Simon shouts, "As if we'd accept extinction over a bunch of bullshit like that"

"Then behold. Watch where this universe is headed. See the universe destroyed by the power of the Spiral. Which thinks only of evolving" The Anti-Spiral says

Suddenly, we stop dead in our tracks

"Simon what's going on up there" Kittan asks

Silence

"Simon!" I shout

Nothing

Simon POV

I was shown a vision. A vision of a universe collapsed by Spiral Power

"Is this...the end result of all this fighting" I ask stunned

"Spiral Power is what binds together life forms in the universe. The growth of galaxies is proportional to the growth of life. Life developed in search of forms that would help it acquire even more Spiral power" The Anti-Spiral explains, "This is evolution. But the result would be a loss of control over their Spiral Power and all life becoming its own galaxy. These mega galaxies would devour each other creating a black hole, returning the universe to nothingness. This is the Spiral Nemesis"
