Y/N POV

With all the shit that happened today, getting arrested at 3 in the morning was on the bottom of the list of the what I expected t end it

"Under the direct orders of Chief Advisor Rossiu, you, Y/N Giha, are under arrest" the capitol guard says

"What" I say barely awake

Handcuffs are then placed on my wrists

"WHAT!" I shout realizing the situation

"Come with us" the capitol guard says grabbing my arm and dragging me out of my apartment

"Get the fuck off me!" I shout pulling my arm away, "What am I being arrested for"

"Believe me, if I knew I would've told you" the guard says, "These orders come from the top"

"What about Simon? Did he authorize this" I ask

"Like we said, these orders came from Chief Advisor Rossiu" he explains, "Besides, Supreme Commander Simon was taken into custody as well"

"Simon was arrested too?" I ask in shock

"Yes. Now please come with us" he says taking me to the capitol building

"What are you up to Rossiu?" I think to myself

Rossiu POV

I had Y/N and Simon placed under arrest and they were currently being transported to their holding cell in the capitol building. Outside riots occurred.

"Give us Simon!"

"Make him pay for what he did!"

"He's not a hero!"

"This is all his fault!"

The people were not happy at all

"Rossiu" Simon says coldly, "Why?"

"The citizens that were evacuated to the Parliament Tower have begun to riot" I respond, "They say our defeat of Lordgenomes is what set this catastrophe in motion and that Team Dai-Gurren is to blame for the moon falling. That anger is directed at the new government. Your conversation with Nia was broadcast around the world and now everyone know if the impending doom. That doesn't even begin to cover your reckless fight earlier"

"Why am I here?" Y/N asks

"The people say that you and Simon are the main two people to blame for Lordgenomes defeat" I explain

"THATS BULLSHIT!!!" He shouts, "They've all lived carefree lives because of us. And now they're gonna blame us for that"

We watch as they tear down Kaminas statue

"THATS THE GUY!"

"TEAR IT DOWN!"

"THOSE BASTARDS!" Y/N shouts angrily, "HE DIED WITH HONOR AND VALOR JUST FOR THOSE HE FREED TO HATE HIM!!!"

"Please calm down Y/N" I say, "In the eyes of the citizens, you are no different then Lordgenome, in which case we must punish you two in the same manner"

"ROSSIU YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Y/N shouts as he tries to tackle me only for two guards to hold him back, "I'll kill you!"

We then place them in holding cells as they await their trials

"Remain here until your trials" I say

"Trials" Simon asks

"We are now a nation of laws. Questions of War Crimes are to be settled in a court of law" I explain
