Dereks breath hitched and his eyes opened in shock, he lifted his head and was met with a small warm body wrapping its arms around him.
His tears began to fall again as he tightly wrapped his arms around Mikes neck and pulled him in closer, crying into his shoulder, they both clinched to each other like their life depended on it.
They sat like that for a while, crying into each other's arms. But it wasn't sadness, it was relief, happiness, forgiveness, things neither of them have felt in a long time.
