Chapter 7 Pt.1 - We Meet Again

Present

Y/N's POV

"So, this is your studio?" I asked Lisa as we enter the studio.

"Not mine but Irene's." She smiled.

"Who's Irene?" She looked away as if she was sad, wonder what's going on with her. "Lisa? Are you okay?"

She suddenly snapped out of her thoughts as I touch her shoulder. "Oh, yeah I'm okay. It's-"

"Hey, look who's here!" I heard a familiar voice from behind. I turned around to see,

Bae Joohyun, my sister.

"That's Irene." Lisa whispered.

Irene?

Why did she change her name like that?

Joohyun looks at me with some anger in her eyes, but with a smile on her face.

"Hey, Human Aphrodite." Lisa said.

Human Aphrodite?!

"Lisa, I would ask you to leave me and Y/N alone for a while. We have a lot of catching up to do."

"Oh, okay?" Lisa replied with some confusion and left. Joohyun comes closer to me and looks at me straight through my eyes.

"We meet again, Y/N." She death glares me which made me feel uncomfortable.

"J-Joohyun unnie.... How did you-"

"Long story, sister."

Flashback

3rd Person's POV

"Joohyun-unnie, let's play!" Little Y/N squeals as she looks at her big sister who was lying down.

"Y/N, I'm tired. I had like a bunch of school works." Joohyun said as an excuse.

"But you promised me we would play......" Y/N pouts.

Joohyun sits up and looks at her sister. "I'm sorry little one but, I'm not in the mood to play." She stands up and left the living room.

Y/N and Joohyun were really close as kids. But when Joohyun started middle school, she started spending less time with her little sister and prefers hanging out with her friends instead. Whenever Y/N bugs her sister to spend time with her, Joohyun would get annoyed. There was this one time when her friends went to her house for a sleepover. Y/N wanted to hang out with them, however, Joohyun would always roll her eyes if her friends give Y/N more attention. 

As years go by, Joohyun started ignoring Y/N. Joohyun is now 15, while Y/N is 12. Y/N started to realize her sister doesn't love her anymore, unlike before. 

One day, Y/N was just doing her homework. Not until she heard her sister chit-chatting with her friends. 

"So, how is Y/N?" Y/N heard a voice as she goes by the door, making sure no one sees her.

"Oh, uhh... I don't really get to spend much time with her that much." She heard her sister's voice.

"Why not?"

"Because," Joohyun sighs. "you know.... School works...." Lies, Y/N thought. 

"School works? I thought you have low grades."

"Yeah because I don't even learn anything. No matter how hard I study, I still get low grades. Well, school sucks." They all started laughing at Joohyun's response.
