Somebody New Joining the SMP

💜Chapter Nine💜

Nova closed their laptop, finally they finished writing a 'new chapter' of 'Somebody New Joining the SMP'. Their eyes scanned over to the annoying alarm clock, seeing red numbers illuminating their room, it read '4:32 am' god it was late, and they had 7 am classes the next morning. This was definitely going to be a pain tomorrow..

They laid down on their comfortable bed, pulling out their pony tail before their head could hit the pillow. The nerdy bisexual had a splitting headache, most likely from staring at screens all day and not wearing their blue light glasses. (I have these glasses that block blue light because I go to a tech school and stare at screens all day but I never wear them 🤷) Nova stared at the white ceiling above them, if only it was their wooden ceiling in the SMP, they'd see it soon enough...

Nova opened their eyes, seeing what they desired, the wooden roof of their home. They hopped out of bed walking right to their small balcony, watching the sun come up over the trees. This was what Nova woke up to every morning, a beautiful red, orange, and yellow sunrise and a nice breeze. They closed their eyes, just enjoying the peace and quiet-

"NOVA! NOVA! NOVA!" 

"Well that didn't last long..Yeah?" Nova looked down over their balcony seeing Tommy and Tubbo, standing by the front door.

"Techno's coming to kill us!" Tommy spoke loudly so Nova could hear him.

"What did you two do?"

"We may have stole some stuff from Techno..."

"And didn't realize he was home so he followed us.." 

"Tommy! Tubbo!" Around the corner, Technoblade appeared, holding his axe in his hand. "You two have stole from me for the last time!" Nova jumped down from their balcony, standing in front of the bloodgod. 

"Woah woah woah, let's calm down here. Hello Techno"

"Hello Nova."

"How about instead of killing them, we talk this out? Like normal people-"

"Nova, you literally quote a tv show when someone calls you a psychopath..." Tommy commented.

"Because i'm a high function sociopath, get it right." (I'm not really, I'm just quoting a TV show-) They sighed. "Look, nobody needs to get hurt, they can just give you back the stuff."

"But Novaaaaaaaaaaaa" Tubbo interjected. 

"Would you rather be dead? Or give Techno his stuff back?" The two boys looked at each other before walking forward and handing Techno his items back. "There we go. Now no one needs to get hurt."

"Thank you."

"Your welcome. See you around, Techno" As the bloodgod walked off, Nova quickly turned to Tommy and Tubbo. "Are you two serious right now?"

"It was Tommy's idea." 

"You didn't say it was a bad idea!"

"You two-" They sighed, pinching the top of their nose. "You're lucky I know almost everyone"

"You're our hero, Nova" The three chuckled at Tommy's comment. 

"I better be. Now give me 5 minutes and i'll be back out-"

"Nova!" They heard Tubbo yell out their name before seeing only white walls..They were back in the castle.

"Shit.. Karl? Are you around?" Nova called out, waiting to hear something as they looked to see their black t-shirt, jeans, boots, and cloak turned white.

"Hm?" The brunette boy's head appeared from around the corner. "Hello Nova!"

"Hi Karl, how am I here?" They asked immediately, confused on how they were just standing in front of their beautiful purple house. 

"I'm not sure.. Sometimes I come here when I'm in danger or just by thinking about it"

"I wasn't thinking about whatever this place is-"

"The inbetween"

"Well I wasn't thinking about the inbetween so..I was in danger.." Finally the realization hit. "I need to get back. Tommy and Tubbo could be in danger! How do I get back?!"

"Calm down, you just need to focus on where you want to be, and then you'll appear there"

"Okay.. okay.." They took a deep breath closing their eyes as they thought about their home. 

"Nova!" Quickly the enby ducked, ending up sitting on the ground. "What the-"

"Am i dead?" Nova looked behind them, seeing an arrow stuck in their door, and Tommy and Tubbo both shocked at how their friend disappeared and reappeared. 

"No..But how did- How did you do that?" Tubbo asked.

"How did I duck? I squatted, thats all"

"Thats..thats not what im talking about..."
