"It was at my front door, Cassidy! Just sitting there!" Nova said as they paced back and forth through their living room in front of Cassidy.

"We don't know if it was Dream though, this could just be a prank?" Cassidy replied, she sat on the couch just watching the enby walk around.

"Who would do a prank like this? This. This is cruel! It has to be Dream! He's somehow alive!"

"Nova, you need to take a breath here.. We don't know if he's alive-"

"He's alive! I know this is him! He's still just torturing me!" They put a hand over their eyes. "We need to find him and just make sure he stays dead."

"We don't know if he's alive, someones just trying to get in your head."

"Who the hell would be trying to get in my head besides Dream?! Nobody else is against me besides him! It's totally him!"

"What are we even going to do if it is him? We have no idea where he could even be"

"That's why we start looking! Keep an eye out, check all his old bases! Anything we can do to find him!" 

"Well if you really want to do this then we should go tell the others-"

"No. This is just between us and maybe Karl.. I don't want Tommy or Tubbo to know about this. They've been through just as much as me because of him, even more"

"..Fine.. I'll go talk to Karl."

"Thank you, i'm going to go hide this" Nova said as they picked up the journal off the table. "Cassidy, I really really hope you're right here...but if you're not, we just need to make sure."

"I understand, really I do... I just really don't want him to be alive either.." Cassidy stood up, making their way to the door. "I'll talk to you later, Nova"

"See you around, Cassidy" Once their friend left, the enby sat down on their couch, placing their head in their hands.

"Feeling... useless?" A voice masculine voice asked.

"Who the hell said?"

"You'll find out soon.."

"I really don't feel like waiting." Nova carefully stood up, pulling out their sword.

"Well, i'm afraid you'll have to. See you soon, Nova.." The voice stopped, just leaving their house in silence.

"Voices are such cowards.." They scoffed as a joke, wanting to hear some kind of reaction, but they heard nothing... Suddenly Nova fell to their knees, putting their hands over their eyes in pain. They screamed out in pain, closing their eyes tightly. The reality traveler heard their front door open, but they couldn't even look over.

"Nova?" Nova could hear someone walk over, feeling them put a hand on their shoulder. "Nova? Nova, are you okay?"

"Not-not even a little.."

"What happened? How can I help?"

"I-i don't know! God it feels like my heads going to explode!" They set the top of their head on the couch, keeping their hands over their eyes.

"Don't underestimate your inbetween, Nova.." The voice chuckled. "Remember.. Don't stray from the path." The pain suddenly disappeared.

"Oh thank god.."

"Are you alright now?" I looked to my right, seeing Tubbo sitting on his knees next to me, a worried expression instead of his happy smile.

"Yeah.. I'm alright.." They sighed, turning around to lean against the couch. Tubbo sighed as well, sitting next to them

"We never get an easy day do we...?"

"No..no we don't" Nova stared in front of them, just thinking about what the voice had said.. Something Karl told them long ago..
