I wake up with my head resting on something soft. Definitely not my cousins arm. A pillow? I'm in my bed...and Mingis not here.
Please tell me he didn't leave again!
I rush down the stairs to look for my favorite cousin, and am engulfed with the smell of...eggs? Scrambled eggs...
When I fully get down the stairs I see a tall red head with a frying pan in his hand.
"You're up early. I was just about to go drag you out of bed! Also since you have to go to school, I know, the worst." He said mocking me. Rude
"I decided to make you eggs! Your favorite!....right? That is still your favorite?" He started to second guess himself.
It was hilarious.
I lightly smack him on the head. "It hasn't been that long dude. Why are you being all fancy anyways?"
"I haven't seen you in two years bro, I just wanted to make it...special? Ew no, now I sound like aunt May. Who even am I?" he ranted while letting the eggs burn.
"Dude, the eggs?" I reminded him.
His eyes got big. "Oh right! Also go get ready or you'll be late!!"
While walking up the stairs I yelled at him about how I couldn't care less. Who even cares about school? My grades might be good, but my mental health is shit. Thanks to SCHOOL.

I got out of Mingis blue jeep in the school parking lot, and all eyes were on me. Was it because of how I looked? No. It was because of my "super hot" cousin, and his cool car.
I look back at him in embarrassment, and he already has his sunglasses on.
What a loser.
I walk in smiling to myself thinking of my goofy cousin. What if I was more like him? Wow, I would have so many friends. I know I tease him, but he's actually so cool. He actually has social skills.
Maybe I should be more like him... Ew no what am I saying?
My thoughts get cut off when I bump into someone, and my books scatter everywhere.
It's him. Of course it's him.
"I'm so sorry that was my fault. Let me help you!" Ni-ki grabbed as many of my books that he could.
He acted like I was going to bite him. Am I really that mean to him?
"What? No that was totally my fault I was caught up in my thoughts, sorry." Did I just speak without stuttering?
Why am I always mentally questioning myself?
While I picked up the rest of my mess I could feel his soft stare at me. I don't know if it's creepy or sweet.
Sweet? Is that word even in my vocabulary-
"Well we should probably get to cl-'' Before he could finish the bell rang.
I awkwardly looked down, and laughed at the ironic timing.
"Well then. Okay on second thought do you maybe want to just...skip 1st period?" he shyly asked.
I have Mr. Wang for 1st. He always gives us lectures for being late.
So without thinking I agreed.
A wide grin grew on his face as he grabbed my hand, and took off.
Before I knew it we were on the roof. The building is actually really tall. I've never noticed. I always have my head down.
He starts ranting about how Heeseung is making him, and Jungwon apologize to eachother for an argument they had over Minecraft.
I wasn't really listening because I was too busy blushing over the fact our hands are still intertwined.
When he noticed me looking down at our hands he smirked.
Ugh, here's the Ni-ki I know.
"If you want me to let go, all you have to do is ask." He said STILL SMIRKING.
What am I supposed to do? No, what would Niki Minaj do? She would be a bad bitch, and take her hand away. And that's what I did.
When I took my hand away he pouted, and crossed his arms.
Isn't this dude 16?
He then gave me puppy eyes with his hand sticking out.
Ugh.
"Only if you stop smirking. I don't like it!"
He instantly laces his fingers with mine, and smiles.
We stand there for a while, looking at the busy city, until we hear the next bell ring.
"I would give you a hug, but no offense you don't seem like a hugger" he smiled sheepishly.
Just to prove him wrong I hugged him. Was it awkward? Very. Did he even hug back? Nope.
Maybe he just didn't expect it?

Y/n pov
I hurriedly made my way to class, and went through this painfully long school day.
Mingi called me during lunch explaining how he's stuck on the side of the road due to him forgetting to get gas. So now I have no ride.
That's my cousin for you.
I start walking to my house, and just my luck it starts to rain. Why does this always happen to me? I'll just tough it out.
Eventually a red car slows down beside me, and a blonde aussie is yelling for me to get in. Obviously I rush into the car out of the rain.
I close my door, and he immediately gives me a hoodie from his back seat to put on instead of my wet coat.
"Ah you must be freezing. I'm so sorry I didn't catch up to you sooner! Here put this on." As he handed me his hoodie.
I took it, and put it over my head. I am wearing Lee Felix's hoodie. Am I blushing again?
"cute" he whispers, and smiles at the road.
