Twenty-Seven

Ryleigh woke up the next morning before the sun, a familiar pounding in her head. She stood from the comfortable blankets she'd been burrowed in and took a shower to try and relieve the pounding, but to no avail.

Ryleigh only got out when the shower ran cold; her pains just seemed to increase drastically. She dressed into lazy clothes and walked downstairs.

The entire house was dark as it was only 3 in the morning. The floors creaked under her feet as she walked into the kitchen.

Ryleigh couldn't make it to the cabinet before doubling over in pain. She sat on the floor and leaned on the island in the kitchen. She just sat there, curled in a ball, hoping nobody would find her.

That was deemed unsuccessful.

"Who is this and why are you sitting on the floor?" A voice spoke from the darkness. She looked up and saw two figures, one more behind the other. The lights turned on and she snapped her head down in an instant.

"Ah, its Ryleigh." The voice said quietly.

"How did you?-" Another male voice said before being cut off.

"Karl she's wearing Tommy's hoodie and she's short. She's also female and last i checked Niki has blonde hair, not brown." The voice said with a laugh.

"Turn the light off please." She whispered. If her voice went any higher she was convinced her head would explode in pain. The room was enveloped in darkness once again.

"Are you okay?" Sapnap asked kindly, sitting next to her on the floor.

"I couldn't make it to the pain medication, was i close?" She whimpered out.

"No, but i'll get you some." Karl said almost immediately, hearing the pain in her voice.

Sapnap wrapped an arm around her shoulders and pulled her into his side. She immediately melted into his warmth.

"Here." Karl said softly, handing her a glass of water and pain tablets. Ryleigh took them quickly before leaning back onto Nick. Ryleigh got very comfortable while laying on Nick; so much so that she ended up falling asleep as her pain subsided.

"Sap, Sap." Karl spoke quietly.

"Hm." Sapnap hummed in response.

"She fell asleep and we should be going back up soon." He said, nodding his head towards the girl. Nick nodded and easily picked up the sleeping girl.

"Im gonna be honest, Karl, i have no idea what room she's in so im gonna lay her in my bed. If you wake up before me make sure to tell someone please."

"Of course." Karl smiled as they ascended the stairs.

the Karl and Sapnap parted ways, going into the separate rooms. Sapanp laid the girl down on his bed gently, making sure not to wake her. He made sure to cover her with the comforter before grabbing a pillow and a small blanket and exiting the room quietly.

He would sleep on the couch in the living room until people woke up. He didn't want her to feel uncomfortable by any means.

Tommy was one of the first to wake up, this was very unusual for him. Despite this he took a shower figuring it was only Tubbo and a few others asleep.

Tommy put on his iconic red and white t-shirt with blue denim jeans. He slipped on white socks and shook his wet hair to dry it slightly, water droplets flinging around the bathroom. After brushing his teeth and keeping on top of his hygiene, he walked downstairs to find it vacant.
