Tori was asleey laying on top of ke her hand on my chest
we lay on the sofa and watched movies when tori shifted a little her t-shirt revealed a large bruise on her upper theigh
my heart immediately sank that someone would hurt such a kind soul.
when i lifted her shirt slightly i saw more and more bruises on her stomach and legs
my eyes watered she must of been through so much pain.
i felt her moving about so i lowered her shirt and said
"morning"i saw her look up and smile at me
"morning"she responded
she sat up from laying in my arms and i said to her
"ive gotta go to my apartment to get ready for work"i walked towards the door
"ill give you money for an uber"she said motioning for me to grab her purse when she opened it i saw a photo who looked like kelly but younger
"hey whos that?"i asked she took the photo out and unfolded it to reveal the man, a woman and a baby in a red dress
"its my dad i keep the photo near so if i see someone who looks like him i can see if they recognise the photo"she explained.
the man in the photo looked identical to kelly.
"see you jay"she said as i kissed her goodbye.
i went to my apartment to get into my uniform
i grabbed my badge and gun and put it on my belt.
i drove to work and when i got there i went straight to hanks office and knocked on the door
"come in, oh hey jay"hank said
"hey um ive met this girl-"i started
"im sure your dad will have this chat with you"hank laughed.
"does kelly have a daughter"his face fell when i asked this .
"technically, yes"he said
"what do you mean technically"
"well her mom took her away from him when he tried to help her with her drinking problem, he hasnt seen her in 21 years"hank said
"victoria"i said quitely
"yeah thats her name, please tell me thats the girl you met"hank said hopefully
"Me and kelly have always been extremely close friends so i knew all about tori shes like a neice to me it destroyed us both when maria took her away"
"ive found her serg ive found severides daughter"i said smiling he also smiled.
"what do you know about her"he asked
"shes beautiful serg honestly im in love with her"i answered smiling
"well if you date her just know kellys gonna be protective of her"hank said half serious,half smiling
his face fell to complete sadness
"shes the girl you were talking about when we investigated that strip club wasnt she"he said
i nodded and said"this morning i saw she was covered in bruises"
he looked as though he was going to cry
"if we see her at that club were bringing her home"he said sternly.
"that wont be easy serg her grandma shes...shes not well at all and tori needs to stay and help her-"i started
"isabella?"hank said,i nodded and he continued
"Ill never forget the day maria said she was going to take tori away kelly gave isabella a box and told her to show her photos and tell her about him,no one thought maria would actually take her away, part of kelly did believe she would thats why he gave her the box"
"serg we have to get tori away from her mom i dont know where the bruises are from her mom some guy at the club or both"i said at this point we both knew what we should do.
We need to go tell kelly weve founf his daughter....
