"are you okay babe" jay asked as we walked into our house and he locked the door behind him.
"yeah im just happy shes got to be happy now, now we can be worry free and enjoy our lives but ill never forget her"i said as i stood at the sink and got a glass of water for me and him.
i sat on the side with jay next to me with our glasses of water
"i love you tori" he says as he held my waist with his hand.
"i love you too"i rest my head against his head.
"cmon lets go to bed"he said placing his glass in the sink.
i followed him into our room and got into pjs then fell asleep in jays arms.
the morning i woke up to the bed empty.
"jay?"i called out walking through our apartment.
with no answer i got worried about him.
"jay?"i called out again. No answer
i didnt know what else to do so i called hank to see if jay was there.
"hey hank has jay signed in for work?"i asked
"no i havent seen him since the funeral"he responded.
"okay thanks hank"i responded
"i can tap his phone if you need me to"he offered
"i dont want him to think i dont trust him but thanks"i responded
"no problem kiddo"he said and hung up.
i sighed to myself where could he be
i rang his phone and it went straight to voicemail
"jay where are you please come back i dont know if im being paranoid but i need to know where you are just call me if you get this"i said and ended the voice call.
i decided i was going to go for a walk to clear my head.
i got a pair of blue jeans on and a cream knitted sweater and black boots then left our apartment, after locking the door.
i walked aroumd for a bit then came across stans club and saw police cars where surrounding it.
i saw hank and ran straight towards him
"whats going on"i asked panicked as i knew becky still worked there.
"we got a guy in there with a gun"he responded.
"And jays in there tryna calm him down"he added and my heart sunk
i silently panicked and watched the building remain the same.
out of the corner of my eye i saw tyga, an old regular at the diner i knew about his family life and how hard he has it.
he lived with his friend with his little sister tiana shes 8 and whenever she came into the diner id give her a hot chocolate while her brother and me talk
"wait tyga!"i called out to him
he made straight eye contact with me for 2 minutes he had tears in his eyes
"hank whos in there with tyga"i asked worried rushing.
"we know theres a gang hes involved in we also know his sister"hank started
"tiana"i added
"yeah she got killed by a rival gang thats why hes in this one"he said
my face said it all, this sweet little girl i knew. gone
"theyve all got guns and jays in trouble"antonio said to hank
they were silenced by a gunshot
i took my chance and ran into the club
barging past everyone and avoiding the oficers trying to grab me.
"tori dont"hank shouted
"i need to be in there with him"i struggled out of hanks grip
"tori"he shouted
"no i need to be with him!"i finally shouted and ran into the club
walking carefully into the main room of the club i saw everyone there in a big group
i saw jay lying on the floor blood gushing from his shoulder, he still was trying to keep everyone calm
"everyone calm down its gonna be okay"he said through gritted teeth
"shut it"the guy with a gun said
jay lay against the wall in defeat
i charged in and got a gun pointed to me
"stop right there pretty girl"i recognised the voice, that was the guy that raped me those two times
i instantly felt weak near him.
"you dont scare me"i said standing my ground.
"might have to have to recreate what i did"he did as he put hair behind my ear i shoved his hand away
"dont you dare touch her"jay said angrily.
"jay calm down ive got it"i smiled slightly at him
"ive got every reason to blow your fucking head to pieces"he said as he held the gun to my head.
jay started trying to get up and trying to fight him
"ALRIGHT ENOUGH"tyga shouted silencing everyone
"i just wanna talk, tyga tell your friend here that i wont do anything,okay you can trust me right"i reasoned with him
"okay, david please just hear her out"tyga said stressed.
"tyga please you know this isnt you so come with me and ill help you, think of tia- "i slipped up on my words and his face fell
"you bitch, SHES FUCKING DEAD!"tyga screamed
"i know im sorry"i said panicking
"but you also know that none of this violence is going to bring her back!"i shouted trying to reason with him
things started to escalate thats when i shouted again
"THIS ISNT GOING TO BRING TIANA BACK!"i was doing everything i could to make him realise what hes doing was wrong.
"stop saying her name!"tyga shouted back
"what would tiana say if she saw you like this"i carried on
"dont!"he shouted back
"why,why! cause you know im right?"i shouted again
"cause i miss her"he admitted
"i know, i know you do okay but gangs and guns arent the answer"i said trying to reason with him
he lifted his head up and i saw his tear stained face
"oh come on man you really think theyre gonna let us walk free now youve put on the water works"david said
david tried to get the gun of tyga
"you gon be joing little tiana"david said to me pointing the gun at me
he went to shoot me but jay limped in front,
i trapped my eyes shut only opening them when i heard jays desperate crys of pain
still suffering a bullshot in his shoulder, jay took another bullet he was shot in two places he lay cold and pale i lay his head on my lap.
"NOOOOO!"i screamed and grabbed jay and held him close to me.
"jay please stay with me"
"at least i can say i took a bullet for you"he smiled slightly he attempted to laugh but coughed
"your gonna be okay,okay?"i said looking at where he had been shot, ive always known to look for an exit wound
i lifted him the slightest amount to look underneath him and saw he had an exit wound he was shot on the left in his body he wasnt shot in vital organs
he winced when i lowered his back down
"Baby stay with me please your so strong, you are baby just stay awake for me"i pleaded with him
everything was still going off and tyga ended up getting shot along with two others that i didnt know
i noticed jays head start to limp lifelessly into my lap.
"jay please dont turn the lights of on me, please baby stay awake"i pleaded over and over again.
all the guys in the gang were pinned down and taken away when police charged in
jays eyes closed
"no,no,no jay, no please open your eyes"i broke down at the thought of loosing him.
"SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!"no one had noticed us before as everyone was sorting out the others that were shot.
medics rushed around us and took jay in a streatcher i looked down to see my sweater was covered in his blood.
"please"i pleaded to myself.
