Chapter 43

Tattoo

Nasa labas na kami ng department store. A while ago, Azriel contacted Mang Romualdo to help us here. We have a lot of boxes and paper bags to carry. And when I say "a lot" it means A LOT.

"Lead them to my van below and go home first. Put everyting in our child's room," pag-uutos ni Azriel sa driver na

"Yes, sir. Iiwan lang po namin at hindi bubuksan o ipaaayos sa mga maids?" Mang Romualdo asked.

"Iwanan nyo lang. Gusto kong kami ng asawa ko ang mag-ayos ng kwarto ng anak namin," seryosong sabi ni Azriel.

I pouted and hugged his arm. Hinalikan nya naman ang noo ko.

Mang Romualdo smiled. "Sige po, sir," he said before looking at the male staffs.

"Dito po!"

Bumuhat din sya at naunang maglakad. Other staffs are pushing the carts with boxes in it while following Mang Romualdo.

Naawa pa ako dahil may dalawang malaking boxes na may lamang cribs. One pink and one black. Nainis pa ako sa kanya dahil bakit itim?! Pwede namang purple, green or blue. Meron ding orange o yellow, talagang black talaga ang isa.

We also bought two baby walkers. One blue and one pink.

"Will it fit in the room?" tanong ko at tiningala sya.

"Yes, wife."

"Parang andami?" tanong ko ulit. Well, actually, hindi pa ako nakakapasok sa room na tapat ng kwarto namin. Ngayon lang talagang natapos. I mean the final finishing is done and the smell of paint is gone.

"The room is huge," he assured.

"It's just the same as our room ah? Hindi kakasya iyon," pagpupumilit ko.

He then kissed my forehead again. "Pinagiba ko ang pader sa pagitan ng dalawang kwarto kaya malaki iyon."

My mouth dropped but I managed to nod. So imbes na dalawang kwarto ay naging isa na lang? Isn't it hard for the engineer and construction worker? Mabuti at nasa second floor lang kami at baka mahirapan lalo kung third.

The third floor of the mansion is filled with guestrooms.

Anyway, today is Monday. My check up is on Wednesday like what Azriel said and it's already my 9th week so my baby bump is really noticeable if I didn't wear such a big shirt like this. We will also know the gender of our baby already. And this Friday is our dinner.

"You want to stop by a restaurant first?" he asks. I suddenly touched my tummy. Medyo busog pa ako dahil kakatapos lamang namin mag-tanghalian nang dumiretso rito.

"Ice cream parlor, Azriel?" I suggested.

"Sure," he quickly replied and so we went to the second floor of the mall.

Binati kami agad at kahit walang reservation ay iginiya kami sa table na gilid para hindi masyadong makita ng mga tao.

"Menu po."

Kinuha ko ang dalawa nyang ibinigay dahil nakatayo pa si Azriel. Binuhat nya ang upuan at itinabi iyon sa akin. Imbes na magkatapat tuloy ay magkatabi kami!

"Put it back," I said.

"Why? Gusto kitang katabi," kibit balikat nyang sabi.

I pouted and just let him be. Nakita ko ring pinaupo nya sa kabilang table iyong dalawang guards at pinapili ng orders.
