(A/n This is a short chapter, because I am close to the end of this story. I will have a big ending, so be prepared for that.)

He had no idea what to say. How would he explain this. Clarisse must know by now.

Percy stared at him, and his glare was the most horrifying thing. It was like he was staring into Jax's soul.

Jax composed himself, then spoke. "I'm going to be honest. I was out after hours. But I wasn't at the infirmary." As he was speaking, the lie formed in his head. "I was...um...with a girl. Doing....things Chiron wouldn't approve of," he tried for his best awkward smile. No one believed him.

"Then who was the girl?" Annabeth asked, not believing his story.

"Um, Alexis," he said, praying she wasn't in the infirmary that night.

"Okay, so, we are going to take you in to be questioned. Alexis was in the infirmary, with me." Percy said coldly.

Shit.

(A/n Again sorry for the short chapter. Gonna be a big ending with the trial out tomorrow.)
