Summer seemed to fly by, and not a word from Harry. Letter after letter Ron and I sent him and nothing came back.

"It's probably Errol," I thought, "Bloody bird must keep getting lost or giving the letters to someone else."

Ron sighed, "I tried asking Percy to borrow his owl but he refuses." "Who's he even sending letters to? Correct me if I'm wrong but Perce isn't exactly the most popular bloke on the block," I paused, "What if the muggles have done something?"

"Then we best go get him!" We turned and saw Fred and George leaned up against the doorframe.

Ron looked at them confused, "And how do you suppose we do that?"

Without answering the twins smiled, "Just be ready when everyone else falls asleep." That night, Ron snuck into my room where I was ready to go, we snuck down the stairs and heard the rumbling of Dad's car outside. Running out we saw the twins in the front seat, "Get in!"

Closing the door behind me I couldn't help but think, "Mum's gonna kill us."

"Only if we get caught," Ron told me as George started the car and we took off flying through the night sky.

"Well with the amount of noise this car makes it'll be a miracle if we don't get caught by any muggles."

Fred laughed, "You really have no faith in us, do you?"

I shrugged and proceeded to look out the window at the passing clouds as we dissented onto Privet Drive. Finding Harry's house was actually a bit easier than we'd thought, being his window was the only on on the street with bars on it like a muggle prison cell. George brought the car closer to the window so Ron and I could stick our heads through to talk to Harry.

"Well it's no wonder you didn't answer any of our letters," I joked as a greeting.

"What are you all doing here?" Harry ogled.

Ron looked at him dumbfounded, "Rescuing you, of course! Now c'mon get your trunk!"

We watched as Harry quickly packed all his things whilst we got the emergency rope ready, I tied it to the bars just like Fred told me, making sure the knot was as tight as possible, "Better stand back Harry," I told him as George hit the gas, pulling the whole window off with a loud Bang!

We opened the trunk so Harry could stuff his stuff in there, but we had to be quick, the noise had woken his aunt and uncle. Ron opened the car door, balancing himself on the edge to grab Hedwig's cage from Harry and give it to me. I put her next to me and we made more room for Harry, who hopped in right as his uncle grabbed his foot with an iron grip.

"I've gotcha Harry!" Ron yelled through the commotion, Harry was yelling for his uncle to let him go.

"Oh no boy! You and that bloody pigeon aren't going anywhere!"

"Go George!" I hissed, we pulled away and Harry's uncle fell through the window onto the flower bed below. I couldn't help but laugh as Harry shut the car door and we flew away.

"That's what he gets for calling me a pigeon!" Hedwig snapped.

We were all smiles and laughs on the way home, we'd done it! "By the way Harry, happy birthday!" Ron patted his back.

"I hope you appreciate this cause I didn't get you anything," I added, earning laughter from the boys.

The sun was barely peeking over the horizon by the time we'd landed at the Burrow. The pigs were oinking happily, I could hear them exclaiming, "Mira's back!" I held in a chuckle, the animals and I had made an even better relationship throughout the summer. It was cute but at the same time I prayed they'd be quiet, I didn't want Mum finding out we'd taken the car and gotten Harry, she was on a short fuse already, worrying about how much she was going to have to spend this year with Ginny starting Hogwarts too.
