I could barely sleep that night, as my nerves were keeping me up. Yet somehow I got enough sleep so in the morning I was the first one up and ready to go to Kings Cross.

"Aren't girls supposed to take long to get ready?" Ron yawned still in his pajamas at the breakfast table.

I snorted, "If that were true then I'm more a man than you are," I responded earning laughter from our brothers and Ginny.

Dad had finished his tea and gave us all a kiss on the head, "I'm sorry I can't see you off but I must be to the office. Have a good term!" He waved before apparating to the Ministry so Mum could take us in the car.

"Alright all-my word! We're going to be late! Come on! All of you! Hurry!" Mum squealed when she saw the time on the clock.

Immediately everyone ran to get dressed and make sure they had everything they needed. I waited by the car with my trunks while everyone scurried out frantically. I let my brothers in first so I could sit with Ginny by the door. That little blue Ford Anglia would normally not be able to seat six children in the backseat, but Dad loves to spell muggle items. We had more than enough room.

Mum drove like a loon, Ginny and I were clutching each other tightly as she swerved in and out of traffic so we could get to Kings Cross on time. Once we'd arrived we all rushed to get our trunks onto a small cart and rushed to the platform.

Mum was frantic, we only had about ten minutes before the train was supposed to leave. The station was packed with people and she complained rather loudly. I found it rather amusing at her disregard for secrecy around muggles, "It's the same every year! Packed with muggles of course! Come along!" She called out to her children, following her like ducklings following the mother duck, "Platform nine and three quarters this way!" We followed her to the wall with the numbers nine and ten above it, "Alright Percy, you first," she waved him forward. We watched as our older brother simply walked through the wall, "Fred, you next," she looked over to the twin.

"He's not Fred! I am!"

"Honestly woman you call yourself our mother?" The twins tricked, I rolled my eyes as they switched places yet again.

Mum looked at them apologetically, "I'm sorry George," she waved him forward.

Just before bolting off he turned back to her and said, "I'm only joking, I am Fred!" He disappeared through the wall with George following swiftly.

Just as Ron and I were lining up to get onto the platform we heard someone yell "Excuse me!" Turning in the direction of the voice I saw a boy with black hair and glasses. He was in the tailor's shop that day in Diagon Alley. He came up to Mum and stuttered as he tried to ask for help, "C- can you tell me...H-how t-t-to-"

"How to get onto the platform?" Mum smiled warmly, "Of course dear, it's Ron and Mira's first year at Hogwarts aswell," she pointed to us. I gave a smile and he seemed to remember me too, "So what you're going to do is walk straight at the wall between platforms nine and ten. Best do it in a bit of a run if you're nervous," she suggested.

"Good luck," Ginny smiled kindly at him. I looked over at her smirking and I saw a bit of blush seep on to my little sister's cheeks. How cute!

Poor lad seemed clearly nervous at the idea of running straight into a wall. Hell, I would be too if it was my first time and I didn't know if it would actually work. The boy hesitated before breaking off into a sprint and going through the wall. Satisfied, I cut Ron and followed through, Ginny bounced over and gripped my cart tightly. We smiled at each other before running to the wall. Once we'd passed the barrier, I marveled in awe at the Hogwarts Express. The train always had the ability to take my breath away, and I'd finally get to see where it goes.
