Draco was brought to the hospital wing and when asked what happened I couldn't answer. As much as I wanted to scream and yell at Harry for doing something as stupid as casting a spell in which he didn't know what would happen, I couldn't get him in any more trouble. Snape was there; he simply said that Draco needed rest and time to heal, seeing as he'd already fixed up the majority of his wounds.

"Miss. Lupin, he's going to be fine," Madam Pomfrey told me kindly.

I looked around at the adults confused, they were asking me to leave, "I can stay," I nodded sniffling as I ran my fingers lightly through Draco's hair.

"Miss. Lupin what Draco needs now is rest. As you are clearly in no right state to do much else, returning to your dormitory would be a wise decision," Snape told me in his usual tone, yet it seemed....softer than normal?

I sighed, I knew he was right, but I didn't want to be away from him. Yet I knew Harry was in the common room, and I wanted to tell Hermione what he did before he told her his version. I bent over and planted a light kiss on his forehead, "I'll come back. I promise," I whispered before getting to my feet. I made my to the door before remembering, turning back I looked at Snape, "Thank you," I gave him a smile. He looked surprised but nodded as I left.

I trudged back to the common room clearly distraught. Other students looked over knowingly, word had gotten round about what happened to Draco, and people saw me walking with him to the hospital wing a wreck. I didn't think people would find out about us like this. I could hear whispers as I made my way through the corridor, "She was with him in the bathroom when it happened" "Apparently they'd been meeting up at nights since last year!" "I can't believe they got together!" "No wonder he never got with Pansy!" It was hard to not listen to them but I'd practically ran up the stairs to the portrait, she didn't even ask me for the password when she'd seen the state I was in.

The common room was empty except for Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Ginny who all looked at me sadly when I'd walked in. Any preconceived fear I'd had about how Ron would react to me and Draco were thrown out the window when he came and hugged me. Ginny and Hermione were by my side as well, clearly sorry. Harry didn't get up from the sofa but he did look remorseful when he looked at me.

The five of us just sat there, no one spoke. What was there to say? Harry had grown too comfortable with that bloody book, sure it helped him shine in class, and it was thanks to the book that he remembered the bezoar that saved Ron. But he could have killed Draco. He used that wrecked spell without a second thought, it was reckless and stupid and a part of me wanted nothing more than to lunge at him and break his hands so he could never hurt Draco again.

Hermione knew what it felt like to have someone you care about in that hospital bed and not be able to do anything but sit and wait for them to get better, she grabbed my hands tightly, as if she knew the thought swarming in my head and keeping me by her side.

Finally, Ginny got up from her spot and sat by Harry, "You need to get rid of it. Today," he nodded knowing it was the best decision.

"Where?" He croaked.

I looked up, my nose burning from blowing it on a tissue, "The Room of Requirement, ask for the store-room, there's a lot of rubbish in there people stowed away."

The two of them nodded and left without another word. With them gone Ron finally asked, "So you and Malfoy?"

I nodded, "Yes, and I'd really not like to hear you say anything about how much you hate him or any of that rubbish. I thought he was going to die because of him," my hands shook.

He understood, "What is it you two do exactly?" He asked.

"I don't really think you want to know," I gave a light laugh as I cleaned my nose again.
