A few days had passed since Harry and Dumbledore saw the untampered memory. He proceeded to tell Ron, Hermione and myself about the Horcruxes, fragments of Voldemort's soul that he hid in various objects. Dumbledore believes that Voldemort succeeded in making seven, and two of them had already been destroyed; one being an old ring that Dumbledore took care of, and the other was the diary that Harry stabbed with the basilisk fang our second year. Five still remained and Dumbledore knew the location of one. Harry was to go with him and uncover it.

"Once all the Horcruxes have been destroyed, Voldemort will be mortal, then I can kill him," Harry explained. It was a lot to wrap our heads around, but it was clear how important it was that we find and eliminate the remaining ones.

During every bit of my free time I went to visit Draco in the hospital wing, every time I went to visit he was sleeping, and while it was a bit sad I never complained. I would sit there for a bit lightly stroking his hair before planting a kiss on his forehead and leaving.

One afternoon I'd returned from visiting Draco to find Ron and Hermione waiting in the common room, "What's going on?" I asked confused.

"I dunno, Harry was about to go fetch you but he went upstairs to fetch something else first," Hermione told me.

A moment later, Harry came barreling down the stairs with his invisibility cloak in hand, "Oh good you're here," he breathed when he saw me, "I've got to be quick, Dumbledore just wanted me to grab my cloak," he went on to explain that Dumbledore was taking him to where he believed one of the Horcruxes was being hidden, "Do you know what this means? It means Dumbledore won't be here tonight if something were to happen, specially if Malfoy-Mira no!" He went to stop me, "Mr. Weasley mentioned a vanishing cabinet over the holiday, and there's one in the Room of Requirement, that's what he'd been fixing! It would create a passage between it and its twin which resides at Borgin and Burkes."

"Draco's still in the hospital wing!" I shouted, "He's not doing anything," I reassured.

He shook his head and handed me the Marauder's Map, "Look, just keep an eye on him and Snape too if you can. And round up whoever you can from the DA. Do those bewitched galleons still work?" He looked between me and Hermione, when we nodded he continued, "Dumbledore says he put extra protection around the school but if Snape is helping Malfoy then he'll know what the extra protection is and how to avoid it. But he won't be expecting you lot to be there."

"Harry," Hermione started but Harry shoved an old sock into my brother's hands.

Ron looked at the sock in disgust, "Thanks mate but I don't really need an old-"

"Inside is the rest of the Felix Felicis, share it amongst yourselves and Ginny too. Tell her bye for me. Now I'd better go, Dumbledore's waiting," he turned to leave.

"Where are you meeting him?" I asked.
"The Astronomy Tower!" He called as he rushed out of the room.

And so the three of us did our best to organize our own defenses, once we'd taken our dose of Felix Hermione went to notify some members of the DA. I sent my patronus to Tonks who I knew was stationed nearby as one of the Aurors provided by the ministry. I told her we might come across some trouble today and to send some reinforcements.

"Tonks said she'll grab Bill, Remus, a few of the teachers who are in the Order," I announced to our small group.

Along with Ginny, only Luna and Neville answered the DA summons, it wasn't a surprise as they were the two who missed having meetings the most.

"Alright I say we do our own patrols, let's go in pairs so no one is alone," Ron suggested.

Everyone was in agreement, "I'm going to go check on Draco one more time before we head off," I told them.
