Not him!

Its been a day after I had that intense meeting with Shade and his son's group. Rin declared war with me, but we're supposed to work together, then again I'll be the one winning, if he starts competition, fine then I'll go along. Im not gonna lose to some rich bastard that talks big. After the meeting we exchanged phone numbers, and created a group chat, we had to get special phones to makes sure they aren't tapped. Today we are supposed to meetup at Rin's layers, where he and his group have their meetings. Currently I'm in my own room brushing my hair, Eesha was chilling on my bed listening to some songs. I turn around to face her, she looks up.

"Do you think this mission will go well?" I ask still brushing the rough ends of my hair.

"Depends on our strategy, our combat skills, our team work, and our overall compatibility," She states looking down at her phone. I knew she was going to say something smart, I scoff at her, "what?".

"No, just wondering what I would do without you," I say looking at myself then her from my mirror, I really couldn't imagine working without her, she was the only one that could cool me, and she was the only one who understood me.

"Well, you don't have to worry about that, I'm right here," She says giving me a thumbs up, pushing her gold rimmed glasses farther onto her nose, I smile at her, Im grateful, this task will be dangerous, I want all of my friends to be okay, I sigh at the thought, it's my worst fear seeing them get hurt.

"We should get dressed for our meeting, where are the boys?" I ask throwing on a full sleeved red and black striped  shirt over my head.

"They are on their way to pick us up!" She says poppibg the 'p'.

I pull on some black mom jeans, and a pair of black converse hightops, Eesha is wearing a fluffy white cardigan with an oversized sage green shirt under it, the shirt was long enough to be a dress. A few minutes passed I finished getting ready when we heard honks coming from outside my window, I look out to see Kuroo's black RAM 2500 parked outside my house. I nudge Eesha on her shoulders and we head out.

Me and Eesha come into the back seat, but Eesha pulls her hand our stooping me, I look at her confused.

"Rock, paper, scissor, whoever loses sits in the middle!" She says, I roll my eyes, I take my hands out ready.

"Rock"

"Paper"

"Scissors!" We shout in unison, I chose paper but she chose scissors, damn it I lose, I prop myself between Tendou and Eesha.

"Hey ladies!" Bokuto says turning behind us, me and him doing a little handshake, Eesha highfives Tendou, Tendou obnoxiously pats my head making me cackle a but, Kenma nods at us.

"Y/N, you look nervous," Kuroo states looking at me from the rearview mirror.

"I mean you did see what happend yesterday, didn't you?" I say getting flashbacks of Rin leaning down and whispering into my ears, I get goosebumps and shivers going down my spine, why does he make me feel so small?

"You know you're a badass, and we got your back don't worry!" Kuroo says "Right Kenma?"

"Yeah, don't worry," Kenma says looking back to me with a comforting smile, I smile back, Kenma's smile was contagious, when he smiled, everyone smiled, my heart warmed up.

The drive there was only 15 minutes, the whole time I had my head resting on Eesha's shoulder, she isn't affectionate but she doesn't move me away, I look out the window, the sun shining bright, the highway was busy with cars zooming past us, some behind. When we arrive at the location we get out of the truck, this must be Rin's place, I think? The outside of the house was very fancy, wood doors, big windows, a garage, and many plants in front of the door, I clear my throat and ring the bell, it was a silver bell with a keypad. It opens, I open the door and walk in. Infront of sits Rin's group, in what I'm assuming is the kitchen  Akaashi waves, Ushijima looks around, Iwa and Oikawa nod at us. I wave back at Akaashi, and smile to the rest, my group mimicking my action.

"Your late," Rintaro says looking unpleased, he was wearing all black again, but this time his outfit more casual, a black t-shirt and some black joggers. I take an empty chair, so does everyone else, except Bokuto.

"By like 5 minutes," I say rolling my eyes.

"Take a seat please," Akaashi says to Bokuto who hasn't taken a seat yet, Bokuto smiles and does so, Akaashi seemed very friendly so far.

"Well we have another member who isn't part of the group but he is part if the mission," Rin says looking bored and diving straight to work, I get curious, I wonder who it is? My thoughts get interrupt by the sound of the doorbell ringing, Rin presses something in his phone, we all turn around to see who it is. My jaw drops once again, no please not him theres just no way! Atsumu Miya walks through the door with the same cocky smirk on his face, he winks at me then shakes his hands with Rin's.

" Wha-why him?" I ask still in shock.

"I saw you two argue during the event, I thought this will be a good time to bring in an obstacle don't you think?" Rin says smirking at Atsumu, Atsumu nods and sits next to Rin, my anger boiling to the highest temperature, I might go feral, y/n calm down, just breathe, you can do it! Eesha had her hands on my shoulder again. So he was at the event the whole time? And he watched me and Atsumu argue? Oh, this bastard! I clutch my hands tighter, leaving half crescent nail marks on my palms.

"Son of a-" I get cut off.

"That should be fine, the more the merrier!" Kuroo saves me again.

"Right, well I have some more info so listen up," Rin says standing up from his seating. More info my ass, the only thing I want to do is beat this bastard.

What is he trying to do? Why bring Atsumu, this bastard, he's going to regret pushing my buttons. He'll see what happens...
