"The bitch attacked you?"

"Well, I sorta attacked him...., but he was basically baiting me to do it! I mean, who stands in front of a tribrid, and taunts them." I stopped suddenly. What the fuck did I just say. Did I really just say I was a tribrid in front of him. Oh shit shit. This is bad. Let's just hope he didnt pay attention to what I was saying.

I watched tentatively, and clearly on edged as Asher's whole body posture changed. It went from a relaxed, easy-going, and laid back to confused and stunned.

He slowly sat up on the couch, is eyebrows furrowed.

Oh shit. He definitely heard. Now what the hell am I supposed to do.

Just tell him the truth about it all.

No, what if he gets weirded out and then kicks me out of his house!

I mean, you really arent supposed to be in his house in the first place. Just find a different one.

But Asher's my friend! I don't wanna lose him.

I was snapped out of my argument with my brain when Asher voiced exactly what I didn't want him to voice.

"What the hell is a tribrid and why'd you say you were one?"

Welp. Screw my brain on this one.

"Werewolf, vampires, and witch?!?" Asher's eyeballs were practically bulging out of his sockets. I was actually concerned they would fall out. But that concern was quickly put to the dumpster when he closed his eyes, trying to get a grasp of what I had just told him. He was still sitting on the couch, but was twisted around so he could see me.

I nodded.

"Wait I can't believe these things are actually real. I thought they only existed in those supernatural action TV shows er something?" He chuckled awkwardly, clearly trying to lighten up the bomb that just dropped on him.

I nodded.

"This is insane! You have to be lying to me! There is no fucking way Vampires and Werewolves exist!??" Asher suddenly burst off his ass, stood up, and faced me once again.

"And don't forget the witches. There's probably more shit out there too." I state matter-of-factly, watching as his eyes grew impossibly wider.

"I still can't believe this. This-I-wha-?" Asher stuttered, unable to form a coherant sentence from his brain.

"I get it. It's confusing. I was born into this world so, there wasn't really much time for me to try and wrap my head around this shit. But, don't worry, it's not that bad." I grimaced slightly, trying to sympathize. Probably failing.

"So, the man you talked about earlier. was he um a------vampire?" Asher spoke that last word timidly, as if something bad would happen if he said it louder.

"Yes. He is."

I watched as Asher tried to take in all this. His expression probably changed about a million times before it finally rested on one. Fear.

"I have to ask, um--have you um,"

I really hope he's not gonna ask what I thinks he's going to ask. This is usually the part when they leave out of fear or kick me out----out of fear. Every single fucking time I've made a human friend, they always somehow find out about......well, everything, and then leave after finding out the answer to that one question.
