"ALEXIS!!!!" i hear my best friend, kylie call from the living room. "WHAT?" i yell back from my bed. "COME HERE!" i groan and roll out of bed.
i walk past my full length mirror and see how crazy my hair is. i laugh and walk out of my room.
"yes?" i ask her. "look!!!" she says excitedly with a huge smile on her face as she points to her laptop. i furrow my eyebrows and walk to where her laptop is.
5SOS LIVE IN CONCERT: MADISON SQUARE GARDEN, NEW YORK
i scream. "KY WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK!" i yell. i engulf her in a huge bear hug. she laughs and hugs back.
i start to cry because this is my favorite band. i went through a lot of hard times and 5SOS was with me this entire time. they are the reason i'm still here.. along with kylie. she was my first friend here in new york. i used to live in a tiny town in florida and i needed to get out of there, so i moved to new york.
"happy early birthday babes!" she says with a smile. i smile so wide, that my cheeks start to hurt. "thank you ky. i love you!" i say, wiping a tear from my eye.
