Rufus and Lily walked into the building now being able to do so since the kids were chased away and the police made their way upstairs to break the party up.
"Hi kids."
"We're home."

Dan, Jenny, Serena, Eric and I stood to the side as Rufus and Lily surveyed the damage that the party had caused of the past few hours.
"Oh my god, oh my god." Lily winced
"Okay, Lily. Deep breath. Things defiantly got out of hand, but the most important thing, the kids are okay." Rufus tried to defuse the situation.
"That may be the most important thing but the second most important thing is the apartment. The furniture, the rugs, the art. My closet." Lily picked up one of her dresses
"I thought I recognised that dress." Dan thought out loud. I hid my smile by looking down.
"Serena, how did this happen?" Lily questioned
"Mom I admit. I made a few phone calls. If you wanna punish someone for the passed hors d'oeuvres? point the finger here, guilty as charged. But as far as all the people...." she turned to Jenny.
"Oh, and you expect me to believe that Jenny was behind this after she had me cancel the best caterer in town because she wanted clue and a crock pot."
"Mom, you could at least make an attempt to mask your distaste" Eric replied. Jenny said nothing. Serena scoffed and went to walk away.
"Don't you dare leave me here to clean up this mess, Serena." Lily scolded
"When this family was just me and Eric, if things got out of control it was a pretty safe bet it was my fault." Serena admitted
"That's true." Eric comments
"But as this family grows so does the pool of suspects. This is not my mess." Serena left us.
"So who's mess is this and what happened to you Rose?" Rufus questioned
"Oh I punched Nate because he was annoying me. But before that I just carried games." I shrugged Lily sighed
"All I did was carry the chilli and prevent teenager from having unprotected sex." Dan continued
"Serena may have had her own motives, and I may have helped with the crowd situation with a few inspirational words but..." Eric trailed of. Jenny cleared her throat
"But I was the one who posted it on Gossip girl. Look I'm sorry Lily and I'm sorry Dad. I don't know maybe Serena was just trying to be nice. But the party she threw was totally embarrassing."
"Jenny I don't understand. It sounds to me like what Serena put together was delightful." It was my turn to wince. Jenny scoffed
"At least last year it was my face on the cake. And the people at my party might have hated me but at least they knew who I was. I know that it's hard for you guys to understand. But I like being me. And as crazy as it may seem I choose not to be a Park Avenue Princess on my birthday or any other day. No matter what my address might be." smooth Little J. smooth
"What are you talking about Jenny?" Rufus wondered. Dan and Jenny shared a look
"The real estate agent called today." Dan told him
"Dad, you and Lily might want to live together but I'm just not ready to stop being a Humphrey." Jen admitted
"Wait, live together?" Eric wondered.
"Well that took a turn. Umm is it too late to give my present?" I asked Jenny
"I guess not." i went to my bag and pulled out the envelope I handed it to her she opened it
"I don't get it."
"The money you earned making the dresses I wore on several occasions. i know it was because we're friends but it's a savings that your dad is in charge of till he sees fit. Any money you make by your natural talent now has some place to go. Happy birthday Jenny."
