22; Mr Xiao Ying

With each word she pore out, her hands only tautened on the piece of file, bearing a consequential information she had missed. Processing each word, her brown eyes without warmth darkened and her breathing fastened as her chest rised up and down. If this had been a cartoon series, irritated smoke would be raging from her ears, and fire would be catching from her eyes...if that was possible.

Unable to bare it any longer, she chucked the piece of file on the table, thudding it loudly in an apoplectic state. Releasing a heavy breathe, she rested her back on the office chair, a hand to her temple as she tried to massage down an headache.

She was growing too old for this...!

Where did that piece of shit came from...? No, she shook her head, she wouldn't let him take everything she had laboured so hard and so many years to build, she wouldn't let him, over her dead body would she let the past to come back to hunt her like a demon. That was not how it was supposed to be, she had everything planned out, she couldn't fail now, not when everything and everyone was under her control...but, how come she missed this, how come she never found out till now. What did this mean, why did it come out now of all times. What was it's purpose.... She smirked sadistically, her eyes glowing even darker in the already dark room, she loved it that way, the darkness was her favorite place, the darkness was what made her and consumed her. The darkness was soothing for her nerves, it was inviting and she didn't lose when she accepted it's invite.

Whatever it purpose was, she would surely put an halt to it because, she would never let everything she worked so laborious for be commanded by someone else, someone that just popped out from obscurity.

"Li Cheng" she called out smoothly and not a second later, the door to her domain opened to reveal one of her possession, one of the many persons she retained.

Li Cheng made it into her office. Working with her for years, one could say he was already used to the umbra, just how cloaked his heart was and just the way she made him out to be. Her very own creation... Perfect, wasn't he? Turning him into something inhumane and unexpected. Perfect, just perfect.

"Why was this information just found" she questioned in a calm manner but her eyes displayed a complete different emotion... How could she be calm when something like this just popped out from no where.

"We have been trying to get our hands on the remaining properties but I guess they were one step ahead of us" Li Cheng informed her and she angrily slammed her palm in the table.

"No!" She shook her head. "No one, absolutely no one can outsmart me. They are gone and I will make sure it remains that way. Twelve years, they have been dead for twelve good years and after trying to get everything, this...this stupid piece of shit came out from it's hiding place" She took the file and threw it on the floor.

Suddenly, she was up on her feet. "Go, prepare me a car. We are going to get to the bottom of this, Mr Xiao Ying" she smirked cunningly.

With a sinner smile curved on his lips, Li Cheng walked out from the depths of her office. Grabbing her purse, she followed him out.

Get ready Mr Xiao Ying, your end was definitely at the corner.

Stepping out from the car, Madam Hua gracefully placed both her legs on the ground, the fresh breeze caressing her red cheeks, the wind blew through her short dress, she smirked, taking off her glasses as she stared at the house before her. "So, this is where he has been hiding. Cunning, I like that" Putting on back her glasses, she advanced towards the front gate, Li Cheng followed behind her like a lost puppy.
