"Are you sure you will be ok today?" Kelsey asked slipping her works shoes on and grabbing for her purse, "I can always see if someone can cover for me in a few hours and come home."

Flip stood up and walked over to her wrapping his arms around her waist, "Baby, we will be fine. I have the whole day planned and I invited Ronnie to come along." He placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Well, that was nice of you." She looked up at him with a smile.

"Yeah, I figured getting Ronnie out would help chill his nerves. Noah and I got this. Right buddy?' Flip said a bit louder for Noah to hear.

"We got it, Momma!" Noah replied running into the room, giving Kelsey a thumbs up, followed with a hug and kiss goodbye.

"You be good today ok?" she said letting go of him.

"I will."

Kelsey then looked to Flip. "You behave too." She said with a smirk.

"Hmmm, no promises, Princess." Flip pulled her in for another kiss. "I'll see you after work."

Flip picked Noah up and brought him to the door to wave goodbye as Kelsey hopped into Zoey's car. When they had driven off they went back inside to finish planning their boy's day.

"Ok Noah, how does the park sound today?" Flip said.

"I love the park!" Noah said jumping into the air. "You think Uncle Ronnie will like the park?"

Flip began packing a lunch pail full of snacks and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. "Nope, I think he will LOVE it."

Shit, what am I forgetting?

"Juice." Flip said out loud to himself as he walked to the box of juice on the floor grabbing a decent amount and then packing it away to take with them.

Knock. Knock Knock.

"Come on in, Peterson!" Flip yelled from the kitchen so Ronnie could hear.

Ronnie opened the door and sauntered into the apartment, giving the door a quick shove so it would close itself.

"Uncle Ronnie!" Noah yelled with excitement as he noticed him enter the room.

"Hey, bud!" Ronnie said waving back.

Flip walked out from the kitchen and swung the packed bags over his shoulder. "Hey, Peterson! You ready?"

Ronnie shoved his hands deep into his pockets. "Uh, yeah. You need help with anything?"

"I got these but if you could grab little man over there we can go put this in the truck and take off." Flip said gesturing to Noah playing with his toys in the living room.

"Of course. Yeah, I got him." Ronnie replied, "Hey Noah, let's go bud!"

"Okay Uncle!" The little boy answered as he quickly put his toys away and met Ronnie and Flip at the door.

"Ok," Flip nodded, taking one last look around the apartment making sure he hadn't forgotten anything. "Off we go."

Kelsey and Zoey were beyond relieved when they finally got their lunch break. Work had been grueling and non-stop since they had arrived. Kelsey couldn't count how many times she had told herself she loved her job just so she could get through the first part of her shift. They both collapsed onto the break room couch in pure exhaustion.
