Four days. Four very long agonizing days. Flip didn't care what it was going to take, today would be the day they found them. Ronnie would get to see Zoey again and finally move on from the bullshit they had been drug into. They could finally focus on getting things ready for the baby and enjoy the rest of her pregnancy. Flip just wanted to see Kelsey's face again. He couldn't wait to hold and kiss her and see how Noah would hopefully run to him so he could pick him up and tell him he was safe. These are the thoughts and memories that would help them get through today. It would be a long day for everyone involved. They knew splitting up had its pros and cons, and while no one would truly be alone it was still dangerous. Ron had made sure to find another trustworthy detective named Sam. He was newer, but good at his job. Ron had worked with him occasionally and they got on rather well and seeing as Flip and Ronnie were going to work together to find Kelsey and Zoey, Sam had been the next best.
"Sam and I will take Nolan's house. It's not terribly far from the warehouse so if anyone needs backup no one is too far away." Ron said pointing to the map on his desk.
"We should leave here within the next couple of hours. We don't want to go in when it's dark." Flip added, "Plus, we need this to go off without a hitch, so that means we make sure we have everything we need."
Ronnie crossed his arms across his chest, "Why not go in when it's dusk? It gives us an element of a surprise seeing as the darkness will help hide us."
Flip turned his head to look at Ronnie, "I mean you're not wrong, but it makes it that much more dangerous. It can help hide them just as much as it can help us."
"Yeah, but maybe Ronnie here has a point? There are four of us...two at each location. We are going to want any advantage we can get at this point." Sam pointed out, looking over at Ron.
Ron nodded his head, thinking it over. "Using the darkness as cover could help. I think we should." he finished as he looked over to Flip.
"No. It's too risky." Flip responded as he stood up from where he leaned against the desk.
"Flip," Ron began, "If we get caught, shit will escalate very quickly. If we can stay hidden just long enough to take them out then we might be able to finish this without any issues."
"All we did last time was sit outside this warehouse in a fucking car Ron, and look what happened! They shot me!" Flip said in frustration, "They shot me, in the fucking dark!"
Ron looked over his partner's face. He couldn't blame him for being angry. Everything he had said was technically correct. He ran his hand down his face before taking a deep breath and continuing. "I get where you're coming from, Flip. I really do. It's just this is the better option right now."
Flip threw his hands up in the air and rolled his eyes as he turned around. A small chuckle leaving his mouth. "You're fucking serious right now? Ron..." he ran his hand through his hair and looked back at the other three men, "Fine. We go at dusk. Just remember, if this shit goes South, a lot can happen by the time back up gets there." he finished as he pulled out a cigarette, lighting it, as he walked outside.

"Well, well, well.." Nolan said as he took a seat next to Landers, "You will never guess who I just got off the phone with."
Landers looked up from the deck of cards he had been playing with on the table. He raised his eyebrows at Nolan in interest.
"Walker. Said his buddy at the CSPD saw Flip and Ronnie at the station. According to him, they'll be coming to our direction tonight." Nolan said as he sat down across from Landers.
