I jolt up in the bed suddenly. My vision is blurry as I looked around the room quickly. I could see Rea in the corner like she's trying to stand as far away from me as possible.

Dimitrios and Adonis burst through the door, "Are you guys okay? What happened Athanasia?" Dimitrios asks me.

I can't find the air to answer him as I try to steady my breaths, in and out.

"The memories," I say between breathes. "They came back again."

I climb out of the bed practically tripping over the bedsheet and shove past Adonis who was standing at the doorway. I need some air.

I ran the faucet out front of the house and ran my fingers under it splashing my face with water.

"We both felt something in our chest and we thought you got hurt," Dimitrios tells me.

"Yeah, I forgot. Converse-souls," I mutter back to him. "I think I'm going to take a swim," I tell them both.

"Um, are you sure that's safe?" Dimitrios says catching up to me.

"Yeah it's the water, it's the safest place for me," I tell him back not slowing my pace.

He stops and I look back at him, "Don't do anything stupid Athanasia," he says to me. Adonis is still waiting outside the house seemingly never moved.

By the time I get to the water I dive in. Comfort surrounds me as I swim aimlessly through the moonlight of the night.

The memories. The only memories I had ever gotten back were the few happy ones at the dungeon. Last night for some reason I felt like I was hit with remembrance.

"Please don't take her! She's all I have left!" I hear a voice yell. These men are dragging me out of the castle by my arms and I have to run to keep up with their long strides.

I look behind me as Donnie is running after me and dodging the palace guards that try to stop him.

"Please, I beg of you. 5 minutes?!" He shouts and they stop. The release my arm and I run to him embracing him in a hug.

"I don't want to go," I cry into his shoulder.

"I know Sia, I know," he rubs my head with his hand. I pull away eventually and I realize I have a letter in my hand with a picture. The letter and picture I got when I went to the outskirts.

Donnie pulls a ring out of his pocket quickly and grabs my free hand to slide it on, "It's just like yours," I say and smile.

The beautiful onyx ring that I had always believed my parents gave to me now sits on my finger. He shows me his ring, an identical copy.

"I will always be with you Athanasia," Donnie says as a tear slides down his face. "You will forget me but I will never forget you. I will find you one day and make you remember."

I embrace him in one last hug before being yanked away again. This time the palace guards have Donnie in their grasps as he fights to get away. For such a young kid it's insane how much these men are struggling to hold him back.

After being yanked out of the castle I'm shoved in a carriage. I look back one more time and suddenly the floor of the castle that Donnie once was on was fully covered in flames.
