22-Don't do it!

I barley got any sleep last night, I think I need to go see my therapist. Something is wrong. I heard people shuffling outside my door, what's going on out there?

I tried to stand up but my body just felt to weak, I felt so alone and useless...what's going on. I reached onto my side table and put my mask on, I walked to the bathroom and took my antidepressants . I hope this works. I heard someone knocking on my door.

"Who is it?" I asked

"It's Kodiak." Said the voice

"Oh, I'm just in the bathroom, you can come in so long." I said

I heard the door opens and shut, I quickly put on my mask and made my way towards my wardrobe. I quickly put on a jeans and hoodie then walked to my room.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked

"I wanted to take you out for breakfast." Said Kodiak

"You know for a Mafia boss you really are a softy." I said playfully

"Oh I can show you how hard I can be..." he said

Okay okay! I know he did not just say that, I felt myself gulp unconsciously and he started to laugh at my reaction. Okay he thinks this is funny...let's be funny.

I walked towards him while swaying my hips and sat on his lap, our lips were inches apart and I moved towards his ear then whispered.

"Don't start something you can't handle." I whispered in a seductive tone.

I got off his lap and started laughing, he looked like his brain was having a hard time understanding what just happened.

"Okay whats for breakfast?" I asked

"You, you are something else. We can have anything you want." He said

"I know, I'm one of a kind,Okay let's go eat." I said

We walked out of my room and made our way to the lounge because I had to fetch my jacket.

"Hey, Can we talk?" Asked Cohen

"Yeah of course. I'll meet you outside." I said

"Okay." Said Kodiak

"What's up Cohen?" I asked

"Are you okay?" He asked

Fuck why does he know me so well, just play it off as if you are okay Safire, just put on ur game face!

"Yeah I'm fine, just tired. We were up late last night." I said

"Oh okay, I know you're lying but please come talk to me when you come back." He said

"I will. Goodbye." I said

I gave him a hug and went outside to Kodiak. We got into his car and drove to my favourite breakfast diner, they make the best waffles.

"So what did Cohen want?" Asked Kodiak

"He was just checking in." I said

"Oh, so what are your plans for next week?" Asked Kodiak

"Well I'm probably going to be busy working, I have a lot of shipment coming in next week and I have a meeting with Julius." I said

"Julius? What's that about?" Asked Kodiak with a jealous tone.

"It's just a business meeting, it's confidential so I can't tell you." I said while laughing

"Okay, can I take you out to dinner maybe next week some time?" Asked Kodiak
