Blue Eyes

26-3 years later

Kodiak's POV
It's been 3 years since the accident with Klaus, after he got discharged from hospital he was good, we all thought everything was fine.

Until that night, Blue Eyes was just in her office working like usual while everyone was busy doing their own thing. I heard Blue Eyes shuffling around in her office but just thought she was busy, I didn't want to disturb her so I left.

We all decided to watch a movie...things were going well so far. Blue Eyes and I were dating for 3 years now and she said she would tell me her name the day I propose to her, I guess that's one way to keep a man wanting more.

"Klaus go call Blue Eyes, the pizza just got here." Said Gina

Klaus nodded and made his way up the stairs, we were arguing on what movie to watch and then I heard it, that scream.

I had never heard something so painful in my life and I've heard people scream during torture but never in my life did I hear that. My soul left my body.

We all ran upstairs to see what had happened, but I never thought I would see this. I pushed the door opened and there she was, in Klaus's arms. Her lifeless body laying in his arms.

I fell to my knees unable to do anything, I felt like my world had come crashing down. I couldn't breathe, the room was going silent and all I could concentrate on was her pale face.

Her pill box was beside her and it was empty, Cohen was on the phone with the hospital and Klaus was just sitting there crying, Nathan was having a panic attack and thank got her father was on a business trip.

"Kodiak, you need to breathe." Said Kiara through tears

"Fuck breathing, if she dies I might as well die too." I said

I moved over to her and tried to get her to wake up.

"Blue eyes! Baby please don't leave me. Wake up!" I shouted out in pain

"Come on, please just open those beautiful eyes!" I said while crying over her body.

"Move the doctors are here!" Shouted Cohen

"Get her onto the bed, we're loosing her." Said the doctor

They rushed her out of the room and towards the hospital block, I looked around the room and saw it, I saw what life would look like if she died.

Klaus looked broken, like he had no more purpose in life, Gina looked numb and so did Cohen, like they decided it hurt to much to feel the pain...Klaus followed soon and did the same numbing to his emotions. Nathan was against the wall trying to piece together why it happened...I could see he was blaming himself while Kiara tried to assure him that it wasn't his fault, all I could think about was breathing.

"Kodiak come with us." Said Gina

They ushered me out of the office and into my room, I saw Kiara take Nathan back to his room.

"You have to understand, she has been through hell and hell again,she has been struggling a lot with her depression and PTSD, she kept having nightmares about her rapes and her mother abusing her. She may have come across as numb, ruthless and indestructible but she is only as strong as any human can be. She tried to jump off that balcony in her office, about 3 years ago. She is the strongest person I know but we all have out limits and she made a choice. Just take it all in, try to understand her and don't blame yourself. You made her happy but she still had her own demons to deal with when she was alone." Said Klaus as he sat across from me

"I had no idea she was struggling so much, we talked a lot and I always checked in, I thought she was doing better." I said while putting my head in my hands
