Mother?! (Tangled the Series Fanfic)

[Pretty Important news]

Mk, so I haven't been updating this thing at all. I've been trying to write this fic for 2 months now, and I only cracked at 300 so words out of it. 

I think it's pretty clear that I'm giving up on this fic. 

I'm really sorry to anyone who really wanted to see what was going to happen and watch the story play out. I just can't finish this fic. 

Reasons: 

1. I've left the fandom a long time ago

I just realized this, but; I left the TTS fandom a really long time ago. I just haven't come to terms with that. I find it really hard to write for a fandom I feel nothing towards anymore, especially when I want to write for other fandoms. It's the reason why most of my later chapters focus on my OC's and why I take really long to update. 

2. I'm really busy 

I have a lot of things to do right now. And though it might smooth out the next year or so, I just can't juggle so many things at once. The school has been giving us project after project, and I've been struggling to turn them all in. I also am working on other artistic projects, and some of them I'm very excited about. 

3. I'm growing out of Wattpad

I've been reading fanfiction less and less, to the point I don't read much of it anymore. I even can't focus enough for that now. Wattpad felt more like a phase to me, and though I still love Wattpad and its community, I'm barely active and barely spend time here. 

Those are the main reason why I'm quitting on this story. I'm really sorry, but I can't keep writing this. I might post a chapter or two if I feel like it, but I doubt it. 

But I do feel bad I'm leaving on a cliffhanger so I'll spoil the rest of the fic. 

Character's backstory:-

Maxim:

- His father was a murderer who killed over a dozen children

- One day, his mother walked into his father hiding a body

- His father killed his mother, and Maxim decided to hide 

- He hid under a table when his father found him

- His father was about to kill him, but the neighbors broke in to check out the shouting

- His father was executed and Maxim (age 15) was sent to work for the royal family as a servant

- Maxim met Kit, a fellow servant, and they were best friends 

- The Mass Murder Of Children TM happened and Kit's brother was killed in the crosshair 

- Kit committed suicide soon after due to the loss

- Maxim wanted to do too, but Larath stopped him 

- Maxim enlisted into the army at age 20 

- He became a foot solider and was overlooked for his small size

- He went on small missions

- To ignore his depressing thoughts, he hyper focuses on his work

- During this mission, he loses that and starts thinking about everything else
