She watched Quirin turn around, holding her breath. "What do you-" he began to say, stopping midway when he spotted her. "Marie?" he gasped. For a second, his eyes seemed to spell on relief. That expression quickly changed however, as he pulled her into an alleyway. "What are you doing here?" he demanded.

She sighed and replied "Ok, there is no time to get hung up on the past, I need to tell you something." He looked suspiciously at her. "We are doing perfectly fine without you." he said, arms crossing. Those words stung probably more than she wanted them to.

He was right though. She had been gone for 13 years, and he seemed to be doing just fine. And plus, she was only supposed to be gone for 2 weeks.

"Fine, but I really need to tell you something." She said, pushing away those thoughts.

Quirin quickly replied "What is it?"  She took a deep breath, not sure how explain everything. It had been 13 years after all. But just when she opened her mouth, a window shattered. They quickly looked at the direction of the sound. It was her house. Quirin immediately began to run over, while she just stood there.

They had found them.
