Pups Vs Rage

Chapter 7

Chase POV
We all arrived back inside the lookout so exhausted and tired from training for almost the entire day. Most of the pups are to tired to move even Ryder was tired.

Hope: Great job everyone you made it through the first day of training

Everyone: (tired) yyyeeeaaahhh

Rubble: I'm so tired

(Rubble tummy rumble)

Ryder: Hehe and hungry too huh don't worry Robo dog brought our food from mister Porter's

Robo dog then came with bags of pup food and a bag for Ryder and Hope. Ryder then set our bowls as he try to ignore the pain. Then we try to walk to our food most of us crawl to it and started eating.

Ryder: Here Hope I got you something too

Hope: No thanks I never eat human food

Rubble: WHAT you got to try it your missing a whole new experience

Ryder: Yeah at least try this it's delicious

Hope: Ok what is it anyway

Ryder: It's called a Burger

Ryder then handle Hope a burger at first she was confused and examined it. She then to a little bite of it and close her eyes. Then they open up wide and she started gobbling the burger fast.

Hope: Mmmm that's so delicious what else have I've been missing

Ryder: Lots more glad you like it why don't after each training we give you a special meal

Hope: Ooooo yes please I like to try everything before I- I mean before the battle

Pups: Yeah

We then continue eating and so did Ryder but I seen him make a frown face at Hope while eating it. I was confused at first but my mind was to focusing on eating. We all then finish eating and rest for a while it then started getting dark.

Ryder: Ok everyone I believe it's time to sleep now we got long two weeks of training

Pups: Ok Ryder

Hope: I'll see you guys tomorrow

She then disappeared from lights and was gone. The pups went to their pups house and Everest sleep in the living room with a bean bag. But I decided to talk with Ryder.

Chase: Hey Ryder I have a question to ask you if that's alright

Ryder: Sire thing Chase what is it ?

Chase: During dinner why you make a frown face at Hope while eating did something happen ?

Ryder look surprised and worried which made me worried. He never make that face before at least not to me.

Ryder: Uh i-it's nothing Chase

Chase: Ryder I know you very well and I can tell your lying to me

Ryder then look down in defeat a sat down on the ground. He look at Everest and see that she is fast asleep. I walk closer to him and he look at me seriously.

Ryder: Look don't tell the other pups ok this very serious

Chase: Ok Ryder sir but what is it

Ryder then explain everything to me about Hope death. He also told me that she won't be there to help us which means the world well be in our paws. I started panicking for a bit but Ryder hug me. It calm me down and let go of me.

Ryder: Don't tell the others they need to have confidence and believe they can do it if they find out Hope gonna die it will make the pups doubt themselves
