Damian Wayne was not an ordinary teenage boy, he was Batman's son and Ras al Gul's grandson, he had been raised as an assassin, then, by joining his father's family, had acquired a new identity as a vigilante.

He had never been a normal teenager and his friends and family knew it. Damian wasn't a boy like the other kids his age, he wouldn't let himself be controlled by his hormones and ultimately he wasn't a cheesy guy.

Then why couldn't he get Marinette Dupain-Cheng out of his head?

Part of him could not help thinking about the angelic appearance of the young Parisian girl, how her hair reflected sunlight, how her blue eyes shone with kindness and determination, how her voice was soft and kind, but with a slight tone of sadness when she expressed her desire to make friends.

On the other hand, the Damian who had been educated to think with his head, could not help but rejoice at the pleasant conversation with the young Parisian girl. The two of them were very different, but that didn't make it uncomfortable. Marinette had achieved in a few minutes what it took his family years to accomplish, to make him feel comfortable sharing information.

The conversation with Marinette had been... Nice. He had not felt any pressure to share information and Marinette seemed to notice which topics he preferred to avoid and took them into account.

Overall, Damian was confused.

From the moment he and Helena had returned from the shelter, the pigtails girl refused to get out of not his mind.

He stared at the ceiling of his room for a few minutes, before realizing he was not going anywhere.

So he decided to ask for the advice of the only person he knew would not make fun (not much, at least) of him. Taking his cell phone, he started a conversation with Lucy.

DW: Are you busy?

LQ: not much, what happened?

DW: I would like to thank you for your suggestion, your insight was correct and very useful.

LQ: OMG! You found her!!!!! 😄😄😄😄

DW: Your punctuation is incorrect, too many exclamation points, and emojis are unnecessary. Anyway, I certainly found her and had a conversation with her.

LQ: Please tell me you didn't interrogate her. You're going to scare her!!!😱😱😱😱

DW: Why do you always assume the worst of me? For your information, it was a conversation, not an interrogation.

LQ: because we know you but don't worry we still love you

DW: The punctuation, now you are missing the comma.

LQ: you're not funny 😝😝😝😝😝

DW: That's what everyone says. Anyway, I'd like to have your opinion on my conversation with Miss Dupain-Cheng.

No, he wasn't going to tell Lucy Quinzel that he called Marinette by her first name, even if it was only on his mind.

LQ: Sure! Tell me everything! Did you find out more about the situation in Paris?

When he read that message, Damian froze. Certainly, his original goal to approach Miss Marinette Dupain-Cheng had been to learn more about the so-called Akumas, but he had forgotten about it.

Honestly, the conversation with Marinette had been so entertaining that he had forgotten his initial purpose, completely.

But he couldn't let Lucy know. She wouldn't leave him alone! Never!
