Mothers Wrath I

Paris, a year and a half ago.

Chloe Bourgeois had never wished more for her school bell to ring, marking the end of the school day, as she was doing right now.

The blonde girl stood on the edge of her seat, one hand on her bag, staring at the school clock.

"Just a little bit more," Chloe said quietly "almost there."

"Just because you stare at the clock, it's not going to move any faster, Chloe." said her friend Marinette quietly "In fact, it's going to feel like time is passing slower."

"Party pooper" snorted the blonde, while Marinette smiled.

Chloe was excited, today was the day her friends would get together and celebrate their second anniversary of friendship. The year before, it had been a fiasco because Adrien had the idea of breaking Kagami's heart that very same day. But this year, this year Chloe was going to have her longed-for girls' evening followed by a sleepover. Celebrating a friendship anniversary with the girls had been her idea, and she really wanted it to be perfect.

Just then, the school bell brought Chloe out of her daydream. Quickly, she grabbed Marinette's hand and rushed her out to the schoolyard, where they waited for Kagami for a couple of minutes.

The Japanese girl did not take long to arrive, and when she saw her friends, she smiled.

"Well, I think we are ready to go" said Kagami seeing Chloe almost hopping with excitement "What shall we do first?"

"First, we're going to eat ice cream, then we're going to the movies to see that animated movie we were talking about last time, then we'll go shopping and, finally, we'll go to the hotel to have our sleepover" said Chloe, dragging her two friends towards the exit "Hurry up girls! Jean Jaques is already outside waiting for us."

Marinette and Kagami smiled at Chloe's emotion. Maybe the blonde was nicer now, but Chloe Bourgeois would never stop being bossy.

On their way out, they found Chloe's limousine with her butler waiting for them.
Chloe gave the order and the three girls were on their way to Raimo Glacier Paris, an ice cream parlor that Chloe had wanted to go to for quite some time.

Shortly after, the air around them was filled with the delicious smell of fruit ice cream and the conversation of three teenage girls, unaware that the day was about to go downhill to hell.

"So did you kiss him?" Chloe asked, looking at Kagami with a mischievous look.

"No, Chloe, I didn't kiss him" replied the young swordswoman, a bit annoyed at her blonde friend's comments "We were hiding from an Akuma, not fooling around."

"If only you knew the number of couples that have been set up while hiding from some Akuma," mentioned Marinette "you'd be surprised."

"Which side do you take, Marinette?" claimed Kagami.

"Just saying..."

Chloe laugh at Marinette's shy yet mischievous look, which was later joined by her friends. When they calmed down, Kagami turned to look at Marinette.

"Doesn't it bother you?" she asked seriously, in a confident voice, trying to hide her nervousness.
Marinette smiled at her friend before shaking her head and answering.

"Just because I dated him before doesn't make me his owner, besides, we broke up because we realized that we work better as friends, and as his friend, I just want him to be happy" said Marinette smiling, then, looking at Kagami in the eyes, she added "Just... promise me that you won't hurt him Ok? Luka is a good guy and I don't want him to be hurt"
