It all started just months after Moblit was placed under Hanji, he wasn't a fresh soldier but he wasn't a well known one either. But he was given to Hanji to help look after her as much as one soldier could. 

But while Hanji was a person who tested poor Moblit patience daily, she was easy to understand and care for once he got to know her a little better. Her emotions carried her more than anything else and why she was smarter than anyone else, she had her dumb points over certain things. She was just human, crazy but human. 

That's why when he learnt over her birthday coming up, he went a little crazy himself into finding her a nice gift or something that would brighten up her birthday since the experiments over the months before wasn't going well at all and Hanji was getting rather fed up.

He did the one thing he never thought he'll do in his life and well, he didn't regret it in the end. It became a normal habit, a sign to show praise to his captain whenever she was well behaved or deserved a treat in life.

 So, on her birthday during the first year he met her and began working for her. He lifted up his fingers, placing them in his mouth and whistled towards Hanji. 

It was a cat call towards her and it had made the captain freeze, even stepping back from her newest titan pet before turning towards him. 

Noticing Moblit looking anywhere but her, blushing more than ever and never looking more embarrassed in his life over his actions. 

Hanji loved it, she cheered and ran straight over to him. Because, why Hanji knew about love and she's dated a coupe times in her earlier years. She normally made any man around her cry or run away or they just ended up dead over going outside the walls. 

But, she had always had a huge interest in cat calling, she hoped to have it done to her to understand how it felt to be cat called but she tended to spook anyone who got near her. Time passed and the only males around her were Mike, Erwin and Levi. Erwin would see cat calling as useless and wouldn't even care to do it. Mike, well he wouldn't since he respected others more than he admitted, he was the big teddy of the group. That left Levi and Hanji knew she had better chances of making a Titan cat call her than Levi. 

That's why she was blessed she was given the over worrying Moblit, he was an angel for sure and actually listened to her tired rambles on late nights. 

That's why, from that single whistle, her birthday became the greatest day of her life. 

And since, her labs and outside testing area before a cat calling zone. All soldiers within her area was given permission to cat call anyone and everybody without shame. Mostly her troops just used it to mess with each other, never being rude over it. Mostly cat calling one another when someone been called up to see a higher rank, got in trouble or when an experiment get's messy and someone get's covered in something making them head to the showers. It's always just playful cat calling between friends and co-workers. Well, unless she's been extra good and earn a cat call from Moblit.

She finally got be a living test rat whenever Moblit whistled to her and she loved it, it was the greatest thing ever in her life, beside gaining Moblit in her life as well.
