The sun wasn't even up when Lapis woke up. The others found him near the water, calming down from what happened. He didn't notice them until Midnight sat down beside him. The bluenette smiled at him.
"Hey Big Brother Lapis." The male nodded at him. "I know voice is weak, but can we practice?" Lapis nodded gently as he lifted a small ball of water up and brought it over. He smiled as he watched it. Lapis's mouth moved, then it stopped when he remembered that he couldn't talk. Midnight hummed. "I can read lips. Keep go." Lapis smiled at him and let his mouth move.
'You just have to let it flow. Unlike the others that need some tension to start before letting it flow, tension in waterbending is bad. Let it flow and nothing will go wrong.'
Midnight hummed as he lifted a small amount of water and brought it over. He took a deep breath and relaxed before pausing. It was way easier to control. Lapis smiled at him before shifting his hands and a small bunny was formed. Midnight paused before repeating his motions. Each one seemed easier than the first as he relaxed.

Midnight gulped as he watched Lapis. They had paused, but the bluenette was still going, probably to regain what he had lost. After all, he had spent a huge amount of time without bending. He followed with his eyes as Lapis moved the water with gentle motions. Tiffany had joined him after a lot of nervousness. Scarlet hummed.
"I keep forgetting that Lapis's family is all water benders and music mages. Truly a great group."
Midnight hummed as the two siblings slowly moved the water. Lapis seemed nervous about something while Tiffany shuddered every time a new move happened. Finally, Lapis loosened up and splashed his sister. The others giggled at that. A growl escaped the female waterbender as she removed the water from her hair and threw it at the weak laughing Lapis. He paused before the duo giggled. A smile slid onto Midnight's face. He hadn't seen Lapis this happy since he entered the group. He stood up and joined them by the water.
