Chapter 14- The Chase

It's been a few days since the Lee incident. Nico and Zuko were still on the move. They passed through a few villages, for bathroom breaks and food.

"Zuko, I really need to pee." Nico murmured from behind Zuko.

"Pee yourself."

Nico huffed. "Um, rude."

Zuko let out a chuckle. "Remember when you peed yourself?"

Nico blushed and shoved Zuko. "I was seven, leave me alone, but seriously can we stop?"

With a huff, Zuko came up to a gate of a village as the pair got off the ostrich to take a break.

Nico quickly used the bathroom.

"Zuko," Nico yelled. "I'm done."

Soon Nico's mouth was covered by a strong pair of hands.

"Shhh." The person grunted, pulling Nico back into the bathroom and locking it.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing here all alone?" The man asked as he took his palm off Nico's mouth.

"I'm not alone," Nico huffed. "Im here with my friend and he's waiting for me,"

"I don't see him anywhere."

"Hey, look mister, I don't want any problems, so whatever you want to tell me, spill it."

The big man grinned. "Well aren't you straight forward?"

Nico had no patience. She slowly closed her eyes and hit the mans pressure points with quick jabs and punches, shortly the man falling over.

"Thank you, Ty Lee," Nico said, before unlocking the bathroom door.

"Where have you been?!" Zuko shouted.

"Sorry, some dude locked me in the bathroom."

Zuko quickly ran over to Nico, checking her whole body. "Are you okay? Are you hurt? Are y-"

"Aw, you care." Nico smirked, before hopping onto the ostrich.

Zuko stood there stunned.

"Are you going to stand there or hop on?" Nico asked.

Zuko muttered some words as he hopped in back of Nico.

After a while Zuko had fell asleep, but was soon awakened by Nico.

"Hey, dork," Nico nudged. "What are those tracks?"

Zuko quickly woke up and started yelling. "Well follow them!" He demanded.

"Okay, okay."

Soon the tracks stopped by an abandoned town.

From afar Nico could hear Azula's snarky voice.

"Nooo," Nico groaned.

"Shh," Zuko silenced Nico by putting his finger against her lip.

"Ew," Nico spat. "I don't know where your hands have been."

Zuko rolled his eyes. "Let me ride, I wanna make a cool entrance."
