//Y/N's POV//

You slowly trudged into Moon's room, her mom was still working and you knew where they'd put the spare key. Moon had her door closed, some soft music playing while she read a book, seeming very comfortable and content in that moment. Until you walked in. She immediately dropped her book while her jaw did the same, moving closer to you as she could feel her eyes fill with tears. You had a bad black eye, cuts all over your arms and torso and bruises almost everywhere else. To add onto that, you were limping instead of walking and your clothes were trashed. This absolutely crushed Moon, and she had no idea what to do.

"Hey angel, feel like doing a patch job?" You tried to speak playfully, chuckling a little yourself, but all you could see was the fear in her eyes as she looked you over. After a moment, she grabbed you by the hand and walked you over to her vanity, beginning to slowly fix you up. You winced the first time she put anti-infectant on one of your cuts, but you slowly got used to it.

"Who did this?" She asked quietly as she gently held your wrist in her hand, her voice laced with anger even though it was barely a mumble. You hesitated for a long moment before you told her, leaning back in your chair as you tried to sum up the story the best you could.

"Hawk did..after school, he approached me with some of his goons and told me to stay away from you. When I refused to do so, he warned me a little more. But my big mouth got me here. That guy may be the biggest jerk I know.." You trailed off, Moon holding your wrist a little tighter as she tried to calm down. But it wasn't going so well. You gently used your other hand to tilt up Moon's chin, looking her in her beautiful brown eyes.

"But he really does care about you, honey." You spoke softly, leaning forward and pressing your lips to Moon's forehead, even if it did hurt literally everywhere else. Moon felt herself blush, her anger level slowly falling as you kissed her forehead and tilted up her chin.

"He might be, but he didn't have to resort to violence. Especially on you." She spoke quietly as she felt a wave of guilt wash over her, gently running her thumb along your wrist. Moon soon started working on your other arm, using your other hand to toy with the ends of her hair.

"I'm trying to concentrate, baby." She spoke as she couldn't help but smile, making you return the gesture. You slowly twirled a strand of her hair around your index finger, seeming pretty amused by the small gesture.

"Yeah, but you're so beautiful, I can't help it." You spoke as you shot a wink at her, making her face go red as you couldn't help but smile. Moon had you move onto her bed so she could work on your torso, lightly pulling up your shirt as you couldn't help but chuckle.

"Geez, at least take me to dinner first." You laughed as Moon smile while rolling her eyes. She looked to you, unable to keep her smile back.

"I have Y/N. I've taken you to dinner plenty of times. Now let me work, seriously." She spoke softly, knowing she could never genuinely get angry at you. Moon bandaged and cleaned the cuts, and rubbed some aloe on the bruises. If you were lucky, they would heal in a few days. You reached up, gently turning Moon's chin in your direction, making her look at you. Your other arm snaked around her waist, making her lean down as you gently connected your lips, something you've been wanting to do since you got there. Moon gently cupped your cheek before pulling away, cleaning up and putting away the medical supplies. You slowly sat up, looking in admiration at your girlfriend.

"You're a great doctor." You spoke as you ran your hand through your hair, watching as Moon playfully scoffed.

"And you're an impossible patient."
