"Do y'all realize what time it is? We thought you were the police... bangin' on my door and shit." I said opening the door allowing them to come in.
"Um... with a gun?" Skye asked looking in East's hand.
"Yeah... it's mine. I got my permit." I said going to put it back in the safe.
"East, come put on a shirt!" I shouted toward East's direction.
"Yes dear," East said sarcastically rolling his eyes heading back into my room.
I hit him over the head as I walked out of my room.
My siblings set their bags down as I shooed them over to the living area.
"Girrrl, who is he? Y'all together?" Skye asked being nosy.
I closed my eyes and sigh "it's complicated," I said opening my eyes.
"Mhmm," Skye said smirking.
"So these are your new siblings?" East asked walking out of my room.
"Yes, this is Skye and Darius. This is my first time meeting Darius tho." I said smiling at Darius.
They smiled politely.
"Y'all quiet... I don't think y'all related to big mouth" East said pointing to Essence.
The two chuckled with East.
I glared at them.
"Ummm... soo what are y'all doing here?" I said sitting down across from them.
"Dang Essence, so it's like that?" East said sitting beside me.
I scooted away from East.
"Yuh, since y'all sittin' here laughing at me in my house," I said looking down at my nails.
East chuckled and shook his head.
"I know you only gave me your address for emergencies... but we had nowhere else to go," Skye said.
"What happened?" I asked.
"I confronted our da- you know who, about you... He was speechless, he thought he was going to get away with this. And our mom was pissed, she kicked him out and everything." Skye said.
