Thomas kept his eyes on Alastair's for a moment, the two of them looking at each other almost staring into each others eyes. Before Thomas's eyes widened at what he was doing, he couldn't be caught fraternizing with the enemy, the enemy with those gorgeous eyes... Thomas blushed at what he had been thinking about, about Alastair Carstairs of all people. Thomas realised that neither of them had said a word he opened his mouth to say something before he heard the faint voice of his friends calling for him. Being the clever, quick thinker that he was, he quickly pulled Alastair into the room beside them closing the door. He now stood face to face with Alastair but at some point the distance between the two men had grown shorter, as if they couldn't stand the space between them. As if they were drawn to each other, Thomas's breath was
unsteady and his heart was racing what if his friends had seen him, or them together?! They were stood so close Thomas could only think about how of he leaned down then his lips would be on Alastair's, his cheeks blushed a bright red.  He thought of just pushing him up against the wall and kissing him, making him forget about this drama and arguments with his friends. Why was he thinking of this? Thomas didn't even know if he liked men or not, or if Alastair would like him?

Alastair glanced up and Thomas, his hand still resting on the other man's arm. He could only hope that one day he would be closer than this to Thomas. He knew that Thomas was angry with him, he had ever right to be but knowing that made Alastair's heart shatter every moment he laid eyes on the beautiful Lightwood boy who he had bullied all those years ago. Alastair could feel Thomas's unsteady breathing by how close they were, taking a deep breath Alastair lifted his other hand and gently placed it on Thomas's arm to help him calm down. "Mr. Lightwood, I really do apologise for our past years and for how I spoke of your father, it was quite rude and I don't believe I shall ever be worthy of your forgiveness." he spoke with honesty and hope in his eyes. "If you could ever give me a chance then I would love to be your friend and make it up to you.."
