Chapter 7: Stitches

Keith Pov:

Me and lance reached the cafeteria and went in line to get our food

We talked about anything really but one question kept nagging at me

Who exactly was he...a bully?...his ex?

The thought of lance and that asshat dating made my blood boil up again

"Hey you alright mullet?" Lance said snapping me out of my thoughts

"Yeah I'm fine" i said shrugging my shoulders as i ordered my food

"Hey you never answered my question earlier by the way"

"What question?"

"U asked you if you wanted to sit me and the rest of the gang" he said pointing behind him to a table with three people on it

I decided what's the harm in it "sure why not" i say and we head over to the table

We sit down at the table and they stop their conversation to look at me

"So this is keith" a bulky guy says with a smile

I nod

"Well i ship it" a gremlin looking creature next to me says with a shit eating grin

I feel a blush creep onto my face and i stare at the table hoping nobody sees it

I look over at lance and his face it twice as red as mine which makes me chuckle and i decide to annoy him a bit

I turn round to him with a smirk "wow the thought of dating me got you that flustered" i say holding in a laugh as his face gets impossibly redder

I laugh as i turn round to see that everyone is looking at me with a mocking look

"Well when you guys are done flirting..introductions!" A silver haired girl says

"Im allura. You know Lance" she says pointing to herself then lance which is still blushing but not as much

"Im hunk"

"And I'm pidge" the gremlin says last

"Keith" i say with a smile trying to be polite

"Oh we know lance mentioned you" the gremlin says leaning her head on her hand with an amused look on her face

I feel a blush return to my face

"Pidge what the hell?!" Lance yells scolding the gremlin which just laughs

"Oh what, I'm team Klance" she says waving her hands about

My blush grows even bigger with the ship name

"You talk about me?" I say turning back to lance as the smirk returns to my face

"We were talking about group projects and your my partner so of course your name came up" he says blushing as he huffs

It kinda stung that he was only talking about me because of the project but he was still talking about me non the less and seeing him embarrassed is too funny to be sad

Lunch continued and we all talked and laughed. He actually didn't have bad taste in friends

Before we knew it lunch was over and we continued to talk as we walked and allura went a dufferent way to her class

After the register Mr.Coran dismissed us back to our booths to work on our songs

I was actually thinking about how lance sounded if he was a good or bad singer
