Chapter 11: The Trip 1

Lance Pov:

Im a bit nervous about going to school today as memories of yesterday flood my mind

My mind is flooded with doubt's and questions such as "what if i embarrass myself?" "What if it didn't mean anything?" "What if he likes someone else?" I feel a twinge of pain in my chest with every thought but i get ready for school non the less

I try to brush my thoughts aside as i head out the door to school but i can't seem to stop the feeling of nervousness creeping up on me

Keith Pov:

Im walking to school and my thoughts can't seem to leave me alone

"What if he doesn't like me?" "But he kissed back that has to mean something?" "But what if he just kissed back so he didn't hurt my feelings?" Every though seems to hurt more and more with every step i take

I feel like turning back and running home but then the school would just call Shiro and he would worry or lecture me......probably both

I arrive at the school finally and i start making my way to my class

As i reach my class door i am hesitant to open the door but i eventually force my hand forward and turn the handle as i step into class

I look over to the seat just behind mine and i sigh as a wave of relief washes ovee me when i don't see lance

I head over to my seat and sit down before taking my phone out to listen to music until the others arrive

Lance Pov:

I arrive at school on time for once and i head down the hall to my class

As I'm heading down the hall my thoughts start back up again with 'what ifs' as my head lowers to the ground

I am soon snapped out of my thoughts when i bump into someone and fall down hitting my head off the ground

I sit back up and rub my head with a groan "ow- oh uh sorr-" i look up to see who i bumped into and i freeze when i see the same guy from yesterday (forgot his name)

He smirked and grabbed my collar as he lifted me to my feet

"Where's your body guard" he says with a evil grin and i can see his eyes darken

He reaches for me and i can feel myself able to move so i slip out of his grip and slide past him before bolting down the hall towards class ignoring the yelling and heavy footsteps following me

I reach my class and run inside panting before closing the door behind me

I look around the class and the few people who were there are now looking at me like I'm nuts and i don't blame them

I then see Keith is also looking at me and we make eyes contact for a minute or so before he quickly look away and looks back out the window

I feel a twinge of pain in my chest again but ignore it as i head to my seat and sit down with a sigh "what if be thinking im weird now?" I think to myself as i look out the window

Keith Pov:

"Why did i look away" "what if he thinks a don't like him?" I think to myself as i look behind me

Lance is drawing on his booklet as well wait for the teacher to arrive so he thankfully doesn't notice me

I notice a bruise starting to form on the side of his head

"How'd that happen?"

"How'd what happen?" He says as he looks away from his booklet and up at me

Shit i said that out loud

I just decide to go with it as i point to the side of my head "the bruise"

"Oh-uh i tripped" he says before looking at me with a nervous smile

He seriously isn't a good lier

I look at him for a bit longer deciding if i should point at the fact that its obvious he's lying or brush it off

I decide upon the second one as i look back to the front of the class

Soon enough the teacher comes in humming a song as he heads over to sit in his seat

"OK class today we are going on a field trip i have already informed your guardians and they have given you all permission to go" he says as he clicks some keys on the computer before heading to the front of the class

Almost immediately hand started going up

"Where are we going?" The first person asks

"We are going to a fair in the next town over" Mr.coran answers

"Do we get to choose our partners" the next kid asks

"No you will be with with your project partner as a chances to get to know eachother" he answers and before anyine else can ask anything we are busses park outside the school and the teacher leads us outside and on the buses

I was about to sit by myself like i usually do when i was called over by the group i was hanging out with at lunch the other day so i decided to go sit next to them

I sit next to allura with lance and hunk behind us and the gremlin behind them using the other seat for her bag

The bus soon starts and we are on the way to the fair
