Chapter 12: The Trip 2

Keith Pov:

The bus ride is about half way over and mainly been quite but awkward

Me and lance haven't spoken yet and we'll occasionally make eye contact but we'll immediately look away again

I feel someone elbow me slightly in the ribs and turn round to look at allura with a smirk

"So what's with you and lance~" she says with a sh*t eating grin and i lower my head to the ground as i feel my face burn red

"What are you talking about?" I say looking away from her so she doesn't see how red my face is

"Oh come on you are the most obvious person ever" she says with a eye roll which i barely notice from the corner of my eye which received a glare from yours truly

"You cannot honestly tell me you don't like him" she challenged

"I can" i replied simply with a huff

"Look me in the eyes and tell me you don't like lance" she said and i look her in the eyes and confidently said "i don't like lance" but even though my voice was confident my face betrayed me

My eyes looked away and a smile creeped onto my face which made my confident tone pointless

She had a cocky look on her face as i turned away with a 'tch' as i felt my face burn up again

Lance Pov:

Im trying to distract myself by listening to my music and it was working until me and keith made eye contact

I quickly looked away again as pink dusted my cheek

I could feel eyes burning into me and surely enough the gremlin is looking at me with a sh*t eating grin

Knowing where she was going i was going to plug my headphones back in but before i could she snatched them away

I sigh as i wait for the mocking to begin

"U sooo like him" she said wiggling her eyebrows

I roll my eyes "as if"

"You are literally redder then penywises balloon" she says with a 'seriously' look on her face

I look to the bus floor as if its the most interesting thing in the world when i feel my blush turn impossibly brighter

"Well i ship it" pidge says as she crosses her arms with a cocky smirk

"Stupid gremlin" i mutter out looking away from her

Soon we arrive at the fair and i can finnaly get away from the gremlin and her stupid smirk

I was about to head off when the teacher called us over to do the usual but unnecessary talk about what to do or what not to do

"I'm sure you all know to behave yourself already so i wont be needing to explain that" he says and i silently sigh in relief knowing half the trip wont be wasted

"However you will be working in pairs for this assignment"

I spoke too soon

Pidge Pov:

This could be a chance for my new faveret ship to sail

I have a plan now to tell allura and set it into action

The plan is to make sure no one asks to be Keith's or lance's partner so they'll have no choice but to work together

If this goes according to plan klance should be a thing by the end of the day

Allura is on duty of keeping people from asking keith and im on duty of keeping people from asking lance

I see hunk away to walk up to lance but i hurry and stop him before he can. He looks questionably at me before i tell him the plan

He then smirks and nods before deciding to leave lance and head to Chey which is another ship

I see a girl try to ask keith from across the crowd but allura is quick to stop her

The plan is going well so far everyone is pairing up heading off to enjoy the fair with their partner

Lance walks up to me and asked if i wanted to be his partner but i just said i was alluras partner

Soon enough everyone is gone except for me,allura,lance and keith

I give allura the signal that its time for us to go and she nods with determination as we head off to a shooting game stall

Keith Pov:

That's weird no one wanted to be my partner. Is there even anyone left

I look around and i see lance and only lance. Why must the world be cruel

Lance still seems to be looking around so with a deep breath i start walking up to him step by step nervously

As i get closer i try to play it off cool as i cover my nervousness with a confident look

I tap his shoulder lightly which still seems to get his attention "looks like we are partners" i say considering there was no one left

"Oh uh y-yeah" he says nervously looking away but i swear i saw him blush but maybe its just my imagination

We started walking in awkward silence for a couple minutes before i decided to break it

"So where do you want to go first?"

His eyes glow up as he says "shooting range" he looked like a kid

"Sure wanna bet on who will win" i say smugly

There's no way he can beat me. Sure I'm better at sword themed games but I'm not bad at shooting

"Loser buys winner cotten candy" he says as well start walking towards the booth

"Bet" i say as well give the guy money for the game before picking up our guns as the game starts

....*BANG*...*BANG..*BANG.....*BANG.*BANG*...*BANG*

I can't believe it he beat me. It was kinda scary actually, he didn't even miss a single target.

We started walking over to the cotton candy stall since i now owe him one

I pay for mine and his cotton candy and we head over to a bench to eat it.

"What do you want to do after this?" He asks me and i look around for something to do

I spot what i want to do and smirk. Revenge. "Horror house" i say and watch his face pale

Sorry i haven't uploaded for a while. Schools being a pain -_-
