Everythings alright?

I look into the mirror and I don't know what to do
My mom told me "come here!"
To show me what's on the news

A kid of 9 years was hiding away the truth
From his parents and their peers
That's he was bullied at school

They found him in his room......
All because he couldn't find a way to tell his parents

My mom asks me "Y/N You better tell me just how you're feeling" "Y/N if you had any of these thoughts you would tell me right?"

I laughed, " mom you don't have to worry about that"

I gave her a kiss went to my room. Or I gave her a kiss and I went to school. Anything to avoid her seeing.

And I cried along the way.

I got picked on at recess time for my weight
No one knew that it made me aware of what I ate

All my friends ate and I never touched my food

Dark thoughts start weighing in on my mind
But I'm not the type to go and unwind

So if you ask my reply's just
"IM FINE"
Until I get home my mind doesn't comply

I just lie in my bed and
Just lie in my head

Everything's alright!
No sleeping because it replays all night

No eating I only take small bites
Never speaking I keep my jaw locked tight

My mom asks "everything alright?"
I smile "Everything's alright!"

"I promise everything's alright"
I smile because "everything's alright"
