The next day, Elijah took it upon himself to drop Isadora off at Cami's place. Besides being a therapist, Cami was also one of Isadora's first friends in New Orleans. And from what he's heard, Isadora would always speak so fondly about Kol around Cami even when his brother was dead.

"It's okay, Pixie," Cami said as she hugged the nymph close.

She was finally filled in on what has been going on with the girl's life. And to know about her aunt's passing along with Kol having to be trapped in a necklace so he wouldn't be tormented in the ancestral plane, Cami couldn't help but think that this would just push the girl's mental health back even further. She's already had ideas on what may have been going on with Isadora, but Cami tried her best not to conclude so quickly given the supernatural factors involved.

"I'm so tired, Cams," Isadora said with a little pout as she refused to cry. "Besides the spell taking a lot in me and not being near my land to actually gain that strength back, I feel like I'm constantly being bombarded with emotions."

"Well, feeling emotions through the environment doesn't really help either," Cami replied. "As much as I hate to say it, it's kind of difficult to control something that's already in nature."

"Yeah, and my cousin not replying or answering my calls doesn't help either," Isadora complained once again. "I heard from Damon that she switched her humanity off and got Stefan to follow. Stefan said he was going to watch over her. How the hell is this watching over when they're both on the verge of turning Whitmore into a ghost town?"

"Breathe, Pixie," Cami told the girl in a gentle voice as she noticed how her breathing became more ragged. "One problem at a time. If you take every bullet at once, you're sure to come out dead."

"I can't die," Isadora reminded Cami with a bitter smile.

That statement worried Cami. Isadora's positive and bubbly personality aside, she was overwhelmed with everything that was out of her control. And the fact that Isadora seemed to consider death in the first place, even if she couldn't do it, made everything more concerning.

"Can Kol hear us from this necklace?" Cami asked the girl as she pointed at the jewellery. When Isadora nodded, Cami turned her attention to the necklace instead. "Hey Kol? I know we haven't talked much, but your girlfriend can't wait for you to come back. Mind helping her feel better? We can only do so much in taking care of your Pixie here."

Isadora couldn't help but smile as she felt the necklace warm up a bit, choking back her sobs as she did so.

"Luka's watching over Davina right now," Cami continued to narrate, as if she was trying to distract Isadora by giving an update on everything to Kol. "They've been hanging out in that hideout of yours. Things between Josh and Aiden are also well. They've just been together."

"Aiden seems nice," Isadora mumbled, making Cami smile. "Luka looks like a fucking martyr though. Talk about Stefan 2.0 with how broody he got whenever Josh was around."

That was it. Isadora continued to speak to her little trinket, feeling it warm up from time to time as if to tell her that Kol was still listening. Cami thought it was nice. It was like having a little diary.
