Loki's Pov:
Something happened. I could remember, but I did not want to just yet. I knew I was now awake, but I felt slightly numb. I swear, the first chance I get, I am going to tear that chip out and smash it to pieces. My fingers twitched and in a moment I was sat upright. I reached over to get the book I had left on the floor next to the bed. Though the preceding events had not been pleasant, to say the least, I was thankful for a night's rest. I suppose a forcibly induced sleep can be counted as some form of relaxation.
"Quick, get changed into these, Loki. School starts in an hour and it'll take a while to get there," Steve rushed into the room holding a new pair of clothing. Similar to the ones he brought last time, but instead of a white shirt, this one was light green. He threw the clothing onto the bed before leaving just as fast. I changed into the attire, and waited, skeptical of what was to come. If I could, I would much rather be wearing Asgardian clothing, but someone must have taken that away because I could not find it anywhere in this room. The door burst open. This time Clint was present. He hastily grabbed my wrist and dragged me out into the elevator. I almost fell over because of a lack of warning.
"Tell me all about it when you get back, Champ," Barton sneered, patting me on the shoulder. I shook him off and he continued to lead me to the exit of the building. Stark waited right in front of the exit holding one of his holographic-type tablets. Barton pushed me forward and Stark grabbed my wrists. He examined the new cuffs which I was only now noticing. There was no chain connecting my hands together. I thought about stretching out my arms and taking a closer look at these new restraints, but did not want to look like a curious child and so decided against it.
"Alright, I deactivated the chip for the moment. Call me when you get there and I'll reenable it with new boundaries covering the school grounds," Tony instructed Clint. Barton then nodded and pushed me forward out the door while holding both hands behind my back. The area right outside the tower seemed to have been blocked off, most likely in order to keep my presence on this planet hidden. A large, dark gray van was waiting right in front of me. Clint banged on the outside of the vehicle twice before the doors situated at the back flew open. The Captain and Thor stepped out. Barton turned around to enter the driver's seat while the two came to lead me into the back of the van. The interior held a seating area on each side which could hold about a maximum of 6 people. There was a wall separating the driver's area from the passengers.
"Sit down, Loki," Thor instructed, pointing to where he wanted me to be stationed. Steve had just finished locking the doors. The two sat on either side of me, blocking any means of escape. The vehicle then started to move, and an awkward silence took its place in the air.
"Remember, Loki, if you slay anyone then you will be sent back to Asgard. If you do not follow this instruction then you will go back to whatever cell you were kept in," Thor reminded me. The atmosphere filled with uneasy tension and more silence. I knew that this moment was most likely going to be the only time I had any chance to escape. There was nothing I could do though, my powers and better strength were sealed within these cuffs.
Suddenly, a plan formed in my mind. Admittedly, it was mildly ill-thought-out but I really did not have too much to go on. If it did not work then the consequences would not be desirable. I knew what I could do, but did not exactly like it. Closing my eyes, and drowning out the world around me, I was able to focus on my being. If I were able to access it, I would be able to shift to my Jotun form. It was something I was born with, not something that the restraints could block away because it was an entirely different aspect than my preferred powers. Something that would always be a part of me, whether I wanted it or not. I did not fully expect it to work in my favor, as I had not ever accessed it without the use of The Casket. After a deep breath, I opened my eyes to see a blue hue slowly forming over my hands. Casually, I hide them out of view while the icy feeling spread further up my arms. The change felt refreshing as if my body had been longing to feel the skin of its heritage. I wish it felt horrible, painful even.
