Forced to Choose,

A Man Moved by Madness...

Gritting your teeth in frustration with your hands up, you glared at the man who had a hold of Emma as he presses the barrel of the gun at her head. "Well, then...hand over the Pen and get out or y'all gonna die here."

The man demanded narrowing his eyes at Ray and the rest of the kids, Ray hardened his glare once the man focuses his gaze on him, seeing that Ray had the hold of the Pen. As nobody made a move, the man's patience only started to run out, staring directly at Ray he demanded once again.

 "Come on, fork it over already. I'm tired of your faces"

There was a moment of silence as Ray started to contemplate what he should do. You continued glaring at the man even if he wasn't looking at you before your gaze averted to meet the gaze of green orbs looking at you worriedly.

You couldn't help but feel your chest tighten, why was she looking at you so worriedly? You should be the one worried for her! She literally has a gun pointed at her head! You look the man over as an idea clicks in your mind, seeing he was focused on Ray and the others you looked back at Emma.

There was only one way out of this situation, you met Emma's gaze before you motioned at the man's crotch to which she thankfully understood when the man's hold on her tighten on her throat. Thankfully he didn't seem to notice the exchange between you and Emma as he still had his attention towards Ray.

"Well?" The man raised a brow, gritting your teeth you quickly shouted as you crouch down to grab your sword "Emma Now!!!"

In one swift movement, Emma lifted her hand before slamming it down on the man's crotch making him lose his grip on Emma who quickly runs away as the man curled up in pain.

"Wha—!"

"Ouch—!"

Everyone couldn't help but let out before they all started to make a break towards the door while the man was distracted. "Quick, get out of this room everyone!"

"Ack, my neck hurts!!! I thought he was going to...choke me!!" Emma coughed out, holding her neck before noticing you, Ray followed her gaze which made him shout in alarm.

"[Y/n]!!"

The man looks up to meet your glare before you lifted your sword up to which the man's eye widened "Heads up old man!"

Everyone who had been trying to get out turn to look back just in time to see you slam the back of your sword towards the man's face as he toppled back on the table making everyone's jaw drop in shock.

"WHAA—!?!"

"HAH!" You couldn't help but let out hearing the man's pain groan before a hand suddenly grabs the back of your collar and tugs you away from the table. You look over to see, only to meet a dark green orb looking at you angrily making you shrink.

"You idiot! What are you even doing!?" Ray scolded as he grabs your shoulders making you sweat nervously, right before you were about to respond Gilda came over to you worriedly. "Right! What if he'd pulled the trigger...?!"

Opening your mouth to respond you were once again cut off as Emma defended back "But he didn't!!"

Everyone paused at her words, seeing this, you decided to speak up as you put a hand on Ray's arm, catching his attention. "The old man is only bluffing."
