The White Maks have us at their mercy, with that orbital weapon operation they can do pretty much what they want, we have to be more careful from now on. I send a few of my people to pick up all Rainbow operators and bring them to our base, I am confident that we will be safe here, and right now we have to work together if we are to survive this. The past few days we have seen that governments are pretty concerned about the current situation and the United Nations was planning on making a deal with Markus to keep their country safe. We need to come up with a plan before that happens.
"What are we going to do now?" Raven asked and I chuckled
"Honestly... I have no idea, we don't know where Markus might be hiding," I said
"We don't know but I know of someone who might..." Yun said then she smirked at me
"Your ex-girlfriend's boyfriend might know where he is hiding," Yun added, I stood up and headed towards the door.
"I'm getting Ela, you guys get the rest of the Bosak family," I said. Ela and I no longer see eye to eye, ever since I revealed myself to her, she kept avoiding me, I wanted to change that. I went to her room and I knocked on the door waiting for her to answer me or open it.
"What?" Ela shouted
"Can you come out?" I asked her
"For what? there is nothing for us to talk about," She said, I noticed her voice was closer than before. She must be at the door. I rolled my eyes and kicked the door and as I expected Ela was laying on the floor, she quickly stood up and went to her bed, I was walking towards her and she was throwing me the pillows of her bed
"Leave me alone!" She yelled. When I got closer to her she kicked me but I blocked her attack, she tried to punch me a few times, and after dodging all of her attacks I grabbed her hand a put it behind her back, she groaned in pain and then pinned her on the wall.
"Are you done?" I asked her then I noticed tears were coming down her cheeks
"Why? Why do you want to talk to me so bad?" She said. The tears continued to seep down Ela's cheeks but she didn't sob.
"I thought you were over me already. Why are you crying?" I asked her
"Why don't you understand?! I have only brought pain to you, why do you still talk to me after I betrayed your trust?" She said. She was angry but I knew she was only trying to hide her pain
"I told you already. I forgave you, Ela," I said
"I don't deserve your forgiveness!" She shouted. I let her go and she slowly walked to her bed and buried her face in it
"You used to be tough, what happened to you? You were doing just fine before. Why are you breaking down again?" I questioned her
"How can I be tough when I threw away the only person that ever loves me for what I am. It didn't take long for me to find another guy and I trusted him more than I trusted you. I lived a lie, often telling myself that I was happy. That son of a bitch never loved me the way you did," Ela said between sobbing
"It is already late for me to even think to come back to you. It's that what you wanted? To see me break down? It sucks to be me right now," She said
"Well, it is true everything you said. But are you going to keep complaining or are you going to take this second chance I'm giving you and finally grow up... With me," I said. She faced me once again, tears coming down her cheeks, her eyes were red from the crying
