End Game Part 38

Electra's POV

Fred, he said his name was, told me everything that happened to me yesterday
He told me I was captured by an enemy and I sacrificed myself for my three closest friends so they could get away
He told me while I was captured I was tortured and then sexually assaulted by my capture
I could tell telling me this was hurting him deeply

He told me that he arrived with Kreacher to save me and he killed the man who hurt me
It shouldn't have but for some reason it brought a sense of relief when he told me that part

"So he's dead" I said closing my eyes

He pulled me in tighter to his chest
"He's dead, he can't hurt you any more"

"Thank you...I don't know why I just said that I'm sorry" I said pushing away but he held me close

"You don't have to thank me, for the last couple of years he's been tormenting you, it's been a long time coming. You know that deep down"

I nodded and let him pull me in again
"Where are we?"

"My brother Bill, the one who asked about your memories and his wife Fleur the blonde one with a light blue dress own this property. It's their cottage on the sea"

"On the sea? Can we go look at the ocean?"

"If you want of course" he got up and then held his hand out for me to grab
I took it and we walked together down the stairs and out of the cottage
We passed by a group of people in a living space but no one said anything to us

It was bright outside, the middle of the day I assumed by the spot the sun was in
I walked up to the shore line and let the water hit my feet
I closed my eyes and let the smell of the ocean and the feel of the sun hit my face
"Is it always this nice here?" I asked curiously

"In this spot it is, the cottage was build here for that reason, Fleur likes the warmer weather" Fred said

I looked behind myself and saw he was further away than I thought
"You're so far away?"

"I didn't know if you wanted space, so I stayed back"

"Oh I see" I went back to looking at the water "I don't want space from you...everyone else makes me nervous still but I feel a sense of comfort when I'm near you"

I heard the sand the moving behind me slowly
I looked again behind my body and saw he was walking towards me
When he got to the shoreline he dipped his toes into the water like I was doing but he was still too far away from me so I moved closer
It didn't look like he was breathing, he was just watching me move

"I want to swim" I said looking into sea

Fred looked at me then picked me up into his arms and began walking into the water fully clothed with me

"Fred!" I said laughing
I was laughing with him

I looked up at his face and he was smiling brightly
"You wanted to swim so let's swim" he pretended to throw me into the water but I held on tight to his neck

"Fred!" I laugh screamed "I didn't mean right now!"

He was laughing now too
"Why not? It's a perfect time for a swim" he brought us out to a deeper part of the ocean
I was now strapped around his waist with my hands around his neck, he got to the point in the water where his shoulders were submerged

I stared into his eyes
Brown, beautiful
There was a fire in his eyes that I didn't see before

He started to smile brightly again

"What is it?" I asked relaxing in the water now, I started to move my arms and I let my back float on the surface

"Your eyes turn colors with different situations, red when your really mad, blue when you're sad or anxious, white when...white is really bad but gold when you're extremely happy" he said

I pushed off of his chest and started to swim around him
"What are they now?"

He began swimming around with me
"Gold, they only show gold when you're with me I've noticed in the past"

I went under the water and swam around
I went further down and found some seashells at the floor but when I went to pick them up I noticed my ring again
My mother's ring

I swam back to the surface but didn't see Fred
"Fred?" I called out

I felt someone tap on my shoulder and when I turned around he pulled me in close and held me by my waist
The feeling of his hands on my waist made me feel warm and safe

He stared deeply into my eyes, not breaking contact
"You don't have to say it back, but I love you Electra. Say it back when you feel comfortable, just know that I do with every fiber of my being"

I smiled deeply
"Fred how long have you loved me?"

He put his forehead to mine
"My oldest memory is being in love with you. I've been told that we're true soul mates, that before we were born our soul was split into two half's and placed into two separate bodies. When we were introduced our souls bonded again and from that moment on Ive loved no one but you"

"I think" I said putting my hands in his wet hair "that's why I'm so comfortable with you. I don't remember anything at all, but you feel familiar"

"I'm very glad to hear that. I don't know what I would have done if you didn't feel comfortable with me, I'm always worried for you but what happened to you terrified me...I was so close to losing you" he put his hands on my head where it throbbed "you went through something extremely traumatic and I will do everything I can to help you to heal from it. Even if it's just something simple like helping you remember your favorite color"
