End Game Part 56

When we reentered the Great Hall I saw bodies lining up all over the ground
Loved ones weeping near the bodies and Professor's helping wounded students and wizards alike

I looked at each face as I walked by
Ravenclaws
Hufflepuffs
Gryffindors
Slytherins
Order Members

So many laid dead, but I got to two faces specifically that shot me in my chest
There laying together with their hands touching were Lupin and Tonks

I looked at my friends and then ran to their dead bodies
"No...but Teddy" I looked at Harry who followed me "he's lost both of his parents tonight..."

Harry didn't say anything he just stood behind me

"Say hello to my dad please" I said touching Lupin's hand "tell him I miss him...you are all back together now. I hope James and my dad don't give you too much trouble in the afterlife. I hope you get peace finally" I cried during the end
Lupin deserved peace

I got up from my spot on the ground and looked towards the middle of the room
Red hair filled that area, they all were weeping over the bodies of Charlie and Sorina.
Charlie....

Memories we had together flooded my head
Protecting me when I was a kid
Protecting me during the Quidditch cup
Teaching me how to play Quidditch to be as good as him
He wanted me to play for Romania to be closer to them...
He never took too long to respond to my letters, he always wrote back quickly
"To his favorite" he would say constantly
One of my best friends, gone forever

I stared at the group of Weasley's and I cried

I cried again when I saw George helping Fred to wobble over and mourn for Charlie
Freddie...my sweet mate

I looked at Harry and he looked back at me
He slowly took out his cloak and I nodded my head

Hermione and Ron were with the Weasley's, so it was just us
We had to go turn ourselves in
We couldn't let anyone else die for us

I never stopped looking at Fred's broken face
If I let myself walk to where he was I wouldn't leave again
I would stay with him, which would mean death for more of my loved ones and us

Harry didn't allow himself to go see Ginny one final time either
He felt the same way I did, we had to leave without goodbyes

Harry opened the cloak and laid it above our heads
We stayed for a minute, I saw his eyes were watching Ginny mourn over Charlie
I watched Fred look around the room for me

"Where is she" I heard Fred ask Ron "I passed out and when I woke up she was gone. I know she left with you and Harry...where is she??" He demanded while being supported by George

Ron looked around for us
"I don't see either of them..."

"You don't think..?" Mr.Weasley said and Mrs.Weasley gasped

"They wouldn't" she said

"Harry would I know him...Electra must have gone too" Ron said defeated

"I need to go find her, she can't turn herself in!" Fred yelled "she's going to be taken prisoner...I can't stomach that again. I just can't sit here while she sacrifices herself" Fred pushed off George but then he fell to the ground "I need to find her" he said trying to push off the concret

Bill helped him to get back up
"You need to let your body recover you are in no condition to go after anyone"

Fred looked around for me again
"Electra?? I can tell you are around me still"

I felt a tug at my soul when he called out to me
"Harry" I said sobbing "it's time"

He nodded his head and we left as Fred was begging for me to come to his side
"Electra you promised!" He yelled "please don't leave me again"

Every word he yelled at pierced my broken heart but I kept moving
No more death

Harry and I walked to Dumbledore's office
On the way we saw Neville and Seamus carrying bodies of minor students who refused to leave
Kids who wouldn't see their 3rd year
Kids who didn't have to die...

When we got into his office Harry took off the cloak and walked to the Pensieve
"It's a device that allows you to see memories...want to watch this with me?"

I nodded my head and we both looked into the large bowl

We watched memories of Snape's life
We watched how Harry's mum and him first became friends, when she accidentally showed her magic
We watched as Snape first met my dad and his dad, who right away taunted and mocked him
We watched Snape when he was introduced to my mother on the train, she stepped in when my dad was bullying him. The look on my dad's face reminded me of what Fred looked like when he looked my way...
Snape told my dad and Harry's dad that they were worthless and wouldn't ever be good enough for Lily or Nova
They pushed him to the ground and then Snape was going to hex them until Lily stepped in and stopped the fighting
Nova stepped in too, that was the only reason they both stopped
We watched Snape be disappointed when Lily and my mother got sorted into different houses than him, his first friends and the only ones who have ever stood up for him
We watched Snape call his mother a mudblood and my mother a creature after they tried saying the friends he was making were bad, he made friends with two wizards I didn't recognize but then I did for one of them...Barty Jr, and then try to apologize for it but our mothers refused his friendship after that
We watched him stay in love with Lily for years and we watched him wishing my mum would find someone better than my dad
We watched Snape meeting with Dumbledore to tell him how he swore loyalty to Voldemort but he planned to kill Lily's son, Harry, and he promised he would do anything to protect Lily. Just Lily, not James not Harry
Snape sobbed for Lily's death after it occurred. He told Dumbledore how my mother was captured and how my dad was going to go down for the murder of James and Lily. Dumbledore told him he didn't do it but he had no way of proving it to the ministry, but he reassured Snape that I was being taken care of. He told him how Harry was still alive too, that both children survived. Snape decided in that moment that his life was now dedicated to protecting Harry and I's. He would do anything for Lily and Nova's children now that they were gone
We watched Dumbledore and Snape discuss how he only had 1 year of his life left. He told Snape to protect the students at Hogwarts and to protect Draco, he knew Voldemort gave him the order to kill him. He told Snape to do it when the time came
He also told Snape that there would be a time when Voldemort would keep his snake at his side at all times, meaning that she was his last Horcrux. He told Snape that only then could he tell Harry the truth about everything, and that he indeed is a Horcrux by accident.
A vision of the fight that the 7 Harry's were involved in appears, Snape accidentally hurt George by trying to kill the death eater who tried to kill him
He was the one who told Voldemort about the plans, to keep his trust in him but he didn't tell him that there would be 6 other Potters, an idea that Snape had and kept secret from him
Snape then went into my dad's old house and tore off a letter that was signed "With Love Lily" he tore out Lily's part of the photo, leaving only James and Harry in the remaining piece
The final memory that showed was one of Dumbledore's portrait telling Snape their location in the Forest of Dean and urging him to leave the Sword of Gryffindor there for them to use to destroy the Horcruxes
Snape used his Patronus to lead Harry to the ice covered pond...a doe just like Harry's mum
