Searching For Ray

Charlotte's POV

Ray has been gone for hours . I'm starting to get worried . He's never been gone this long on a mission without contacting us . I have called him 8 times and he never responded . Henry has started getting worse , and we don't know what to do . Since Ray is the one who takes care of him , only he knows how to help him . I have replaced the ice bags , given him painkillers , given him sleeping pills , everything I've seen Ray do , and nothing is helping . I don't understand why Ray hasn't returned any of my calls . I know Drex is bad , but it's not like Ray to leave any of my calls unanswered , especially while Henry's in the state that he's in . I hope nothing's wrong .

Ray's POV

I woke up in a dark room . I didn't know how long I was out , or where I even was , but all I could think about was Henry . What if something went wrong while I was gone . Who knows how long I was out . I tried getting up but realized that I was chained to the walls . Then I heard someone walking in . It was Drex .
Drex : Well well well . I never thought I would ever be able to kidnap Captain Man !
Ray : Shut up Drex ! Now unchain me right now !
Drex : I don't think I want to , Ray . With you stuck here , and apparently Kid Danger has just *scoff* disappeared , there's no telling how much evil I could accomplish with you and Kid Danger out of the picture .
Ray : Drex ! Unchain me right now !
Drex : No . Now , I'm going to ask you some questions , and you're going to answer them .
Ray : And what if I don't ? ( said in cocky attitude)
Drex : Well that's where all the fun begins . If you don't answer my questions , I'll just simply take this machine right here , and shoot it at you .
Ray : Won't work . I'm indestructible , stupid .
Drex : Actually , this is not an ordinary machine . It makes you , destructible .
Ray : So does that mean-
Drex : Yes , Ray . This takes away your indestructibility . Leaving any criminal , able to hurt you as much they want to . So , let's begin with the questions . Question 1 : What happened to Kid Danger ?
I guess that one doesn't matter if I tell or not .
Ray : He got severely injured on a mission . But he'll be back on his feet before long !
Drex : Ok then . Question 2 : Where is the man cave ?
Ray : I can't tell you that !
Drex : Oh you're going to . Unless you don't mind losing your indestructibility .
Ray : I'm sorry but I can't tell you !
Drex : You have one last chance to tell me where the man cave is !
Ray : Drex you better not !
Drex : That's it !
Before I could even blink , Drex shot me with that giant gun thingy . At first , I didn't think it had worked . I felt just the same as before .
Drex : Let's check and see if my machine worked . He took a sharp knife , and he started at the top of my shoulder and went down .
I hadn't felt pain like this in so long . It burned terribly . After a while of cutting me , Drex forgot about his questions and just had fun torturing me . He beat me harshly with a metal pipe for about an hour . I tried to not think about the inevitable pain I was in , but it all went downhill when he threw his harshest hit on my knee with the metal pipe . At this point I was trying to hold back tears , which never happens because I NEVER  cry in pain . He went through at least two hours beating and torturing me until he got bored . I was a bloody mess . I'm guessing the machine worked .
Drex : I suppose Ray the weakling can't take anymore . Tell you what ... I'll let you go .
I was trying to make sure I heard that sentence right . He came over and unchained me and just walked off . I tried getting up to run after him but I couldn't , i was in too much pain . No no no this cannot be happening ! Henry needs me ! I tried getting up but immediately fell back in pain . Tears sprung in my eyes due to the horrid pain I was in . I tried getting up several more times but just couldn't . I'm guessing this is why Drex just let me go . He knew I wasn't going to be able to get up ! I just laid there in pain hoping Henry was alright . I was so worried about him. Then all of a sudden a huge wave of pain came across my knee . The burning pain came to be too much . Black stars danced around in my vision . And soon , everything went black .
